|Giroro, the Resurrected Soldier / Fuyuki, Swimming Carp Flags!
|Giroro, the Resurrected Soldier / Fuyuki, Swimming Carp Flags!
|The one remaining Keroro platoon member, Giroro, has chosen to carry out a self-declared invasion rather than return to the unit. Under cover of night, he fires specially-designed rounds that spread assorted galactic plantlife all over Inner Tokyo. Keroro and company chicken out immediately, forcing Natsumi to act on her own - but will she be able to handle both Giroro in full Apocalypse Now form and a city full of carnivorous greenery?
|

We are introduced this week to another Japanese tradition - much like Hinamatsuri for girls (re. ep 47), boys get to display their collection of carp-shaped windsocks. Grandmother Hinata sends a box of Fuyuki's own carp flags and toy samurai helmet to his home, and while the Keronians and Mois take an interest in these traditional items (Kururu even uses his newest invention, the Nanola nanobot 'soft drink' to turn the carp flags into high-tech flying scooters), Fuyuki laments that he's past the age for them - which inspires Keroro to bust out Kururu's age manipulation ray and address said lament in a very direct manner. What they don't realise is that Fuyuki as a child was in fact a hyperactive brat, who rallies the Keronians and leads them on his own self-declared Pekopon invasion...

|Natsumi and Koyuki, Princess of Tennis / Keroro, Hope the Weather Clears Up For the Invasion
|Koyuki makes her long-awaited return this week. All pumped up from watching an old sports drama movie, Koyuki seeks out Natsumi for a duel of honor, right in the middle of Natsumi's tennis practice - which prompts Keroro to suggest a duel on the tennis court. Using Keronian technology, he subjects Natsumi to potentially fatal levels of training, but will it be enough against Koyuki's ninja-style tennis moves? Or will the unwanted intervention of a certain afro-wearing space intruder ruin it for everyone?
|

May rolls around, and we are introduced to the natural occurence of swallows' nests sprouting in odd locations for their egg-laying season. Keroro takes an instant dislike to the swallows and their nests... a simple case of jealousy at first, which slowly grows into full-blown paranoia, as Keroro starts seeing more and more swallows' nests... on people's heads...?

|Dororo, An Innate Rebel / Huge Frog Against The Freak Of the Southern Seas
|After being rudely interrupted at the end of episode 54, it's finally Dororo's turn in the spotlight - and just in time, as the elder brother of the Viper who was defeated in episode 13 is out for revenge. The more intelligent Cool Big Brother Viper's divide-and-conquer strategy gets the better of the Keroro platoon, culminating in a dastardly plan to flip Dororo's trauma switch, but Koyuki's timely intervention places Dororo back on track, and when Cool Big Brother Viper turns into a giant, Kururu busts out the Flash Spoon from episode 30, giving Keroro a chance to save the day.
|

Using the Flash Spoon causes Keroro to be stuck as a giant, and the Keronians are forced to bring him to Momoka's offshore island resort to prevent any chaos in the city. While enjoying the huge advantages that come with his size, Keroro soon begins to lament it, until his platoonmates convince him to use his current state to aid the Pekopon invasion. Things go predictably wrong when the Flash Spoon winds up in the wrong hands... and tentacles... and crab claws and so on...

|Dororo, Invade the Vending Machine / Tamama Awakens! Secret Technique
|Keroro's latest scheme involves using soft drink vending machines to invade Earth, and Kururu suggests spiking the drinks with Keron March Energy (re. ep 48). When Dororo and Mois object to this idea, Keroro takes it in a completely different direction - each platoon member develops a unique flavor based off his/her experiences and preferences, resulting in six unique and exceptional drinks that become immensely popular. Unfortunately things go wrong yet again when Keroro, drunk with success, develops a twisted new vision for his soft drink franchise, reflected in the Mk II vending machine that gives new meaning to the term 'hard sell'.
|

Tamama may be the Keroro platoon's resident martial arts master, but Momoka's butler Paul Moriyama, a notorious street fighter in his prime, proves to be more than a match for him every time. When Tamama runs crying to Keroro, he agrees to help out the young warrior... by conning him into doing all the chores. Finally, Keroro leaving Tamama to have tea with Mois proves to be the straw that breaks the Keronian's back, as all of Tamama's pent-up jealousy is pushed well over the edge - and straight into his most deadly martial arts move to date.

|Keroro, The Cultivated Castle! / Keroro's Moving Castle!
|Keroro, The Cultivated Castle! / Keroro's Moving Castle!
|Fuyuki's samurai helmet (re. ep 55) inspires Keroro to create his own castle fortress, by building a plastic fortress model and soaking it in Kururu's Nanola (also from ep. 55). Nothing actually happens to it, until Kururu reveals that the castle must 'consume' whatever items they can feed it with, starting with Keroro's beloved Gunpla, to grow in size. When feeding the castle with whatever Keroro can find around the house incurs Natsumi's wrath, Dororo suggests that they use the castle to get rid of illegally dumped garbage; the resulting deluge of items causes the little model castle to grow at an alarming rate, but a bigger surprise awaits the Keroro platoon as the castle develops self-awareness - and self-propulsion.
|

It's Howl's Moving Castle, Keroro style. Reports of whole buildings being consumed in the night start pouring in from all around the city, as the rogue building, driven by a vengeful spirit from the Warring States era, slowly makes its way to Kyoto, Japan's capital city from that period. Keroro refuses to act or even take responibility for the incident - until it is revealed that Bandai's primary Gunpla factory is right in the castle's path. With a little help from the Hinata house ghost, the Keroro platoon moves out in full force - which may not be enough, as the moving castle holds a few surprises of its own!

|Keroro, Keroro Machine Race / Mois, Hope That the Sleeping Princess Rests?
|The day starts with Natsumi discovering a tiny vaccuum cleaner and a slice of cake racing around her bedroom floor, and a mini racetrack that weaves in and out of the entire Hinata house. Along with the shrink-ray from the Caries War (re. episode 10), Kururu has developed the Bumper Car Gun, which turns ordinary household objects into mini racing vehicles, and Keroro challenges Natsumi to a race - one complicated by Kururu's randomly-placed powerups and traps. Eventually, Keroro's attempt at cheating result in his arrest by Space Policewoman Poyon - for breaking the laws of physics...?
|

Working at the secret base one night after another takes its toll on Angol Mois, who falls asleep at the console; unlike her 500-year nap in orbit though, she wakes up a mere three days later, but not completely, as the resident Destroyer of Worlds exhibits what might be the most unique case of sleepwalking in history...

|Fuyuki, What Happened To the Mysterious Transfer Student? / Natsumi and Saburo, The Two Who Are Unable To Return
|This week, we meet the mysterious transfer student Kinoshita Rei. Nothing is known about her, save that she is an incredible magnet for bad luck. At the same time, Keroro almost throws out Fuyuki's very first O-PArt (Out-of-Place Artifact), but keeps it for himself after he identifies it as an alien good luck charm. All is revealed when Keroro also identifies Rei as a member of an incredibly unlucky alien race, who carry these good luck charms to preserve their own lives.
|

Saburo pays a surprise visit to the Hinata household, asking Kururu to fix up his pen, and Natsumi is understandably excited at this - as luck would have it, they both get lost and meet each other in the secret base. While finding a way out together, they enter Keroro's Gunpla display hall and trigger a boobytrap that places them inside a rocket ready for launch into outer space.

|Momoka, Natsumi and Mois, Phantom Thief MorePeachSummer / Keroro, Victory! Battle In the Waters
|When Nishizawa Bayo receives a threat from a group of professional cat burglars known only as More-Peach-Summer, he immediately enlists the help of Fuyuki in cracking this case. Fuyuki in turn enists the Keroro platoon's assistance. The target of these heinous criminals is a valuable painting, commissioned by Mr Mishizawa as a present to his daughter Momoka, and the near impenetrable security of Momoka's mansion, along with the Keroro platoon, are all that stand between them and their prize, but one great mystery remains - why is Momoka leading Natsumi and Angol Mois to break into her own mansion?
|

Summer rolls around yet again, and just as Fuyuki laments the school swimming session (re. episode 17), he and Natsumi find the Hinata house filled with water from roof to basement - Keroro explains that it is in fact breathable water from an amphibious planet, and Fuyuki gets the rare chance to learn how to swim without the possibility of drowning. Unfortunately the intense humidity of breathable water reawakens Keroro From Back Then, forcing Kururu to take drastic measures...

|Keroro, Story Of Teacher Keroro! / Keroro, Reunion With Father
|In order to complete and submit a report on young human behavior to Keron high command, Keroro must disguise himself as a human teacher and infiltrate Fuyuki's school. Kururu creates the Acceptance Chalk, which emits scratches and squeaks tuned precisely to affect human minds hypnotically, and goes the extra mile to keep Fuyuki's homeroom teacher occupied while the new substitute teacher 'Kerono Keropachi' quickly gains the students' acceptance and respect - except for Fuyuki, Momoka, and Chiruyo Tsukigami of the school news club (re. episode 29). With Giroro and Tamama also deep undercover as delinquent students, Keroro may actually succeed... but his improvised curriculum, filled with irrelevant subjects, and Chiruyo's overly suspicious nature threaten his mission...
|

After his visit in episode 27 had to be called off, Keroro's father finally shows up at the Hinata doorstep, completely unannounced - and with good reason, as the galactically feared Demon Sergeant has picked a bride for his son. Keronian marriage is in fact a sacred coming-of-age ceremony, and Keroro faces the possibility of being seperated from his beloved Gunpla. Desperation forces Keroro to name Natsumi as his spouse, and what follows can only be described as the new greatest coverup in history....

|Keroro, If You Want To Suck, Suck! Give Up On Lying / Dororo, Escape From Trauma
|Summer rains escalate into a veritable monsoon season, posing a problem for the Hinata household as damp laundry begins to accumulate - Keroro hoards the damp laundry in his room, and the rising humidity brings back the threat of a Nyororo from space. Kururu develops the Kirara-chan, an alien clothes dryer powered by a living Nyororo imprisoned inside it. Problems arise when Keroro decides to mass-produce the Kirara-chan, and the colony of genetically-modified fast-growing Nyororo bred for this venture go out of control, and overrun the underground base.
|

The previous incident flips Dororo's trauma switch, and it stays flipped into the second half, prompting the Keroro platoon to take action. Kururu brings out his most incredible invention to date, the Soul Diver, able to transport Keroro, Tamama and Giroro into Dororo's mind for the purpose of manipulating his memories. Unexpected opposition comes in the form of the ToraUma, a cross between a tiger, a horse and Sadako from The Ring, a literal inner demon that will not sleep, and will not be stopped.

|Keroro, Bark At Pekopon / Tamama, A Visitor From Keron Planet
|When Keroro's favourite anime is interrupted due to a faulty transmission, Kururu busts out a galactic antenna for the TV, which proves to be so powerful that the Keroro platoon wind up listening in on Galactic Police radio broadcasts. Thus the Keronians are alerted to the threat of an escaped alien criminal known only as #303, and Keroro reorganises his platoon, and involuntary member Fuyuki, into the Seventh District Investigative Divison to track down and bring down this menace - and just in time, as a string of inexplicable food thefts begin to sweep through the city. Things take a mysterious turn as Fuyuki's normally flawless investigative skill deduce the culprit to be Keroro himself...
|

We are introduced this week to Tanabata, a festival derived from the Chinese legend of the celestial cowherd and weaving girl, when people write their dearest wishes on sheets of paper and hang them up. Debuting this week is Karara, juvenile Keronian and self-declared new conscript of the Keroro platoon. Tamama takes an instant dislike to Karara, but winds up saddled with the role of mentor to this new conscript - whose curiosity and short attention span throw the secret base into chaos. Kururu's seldom-seen temper rears its ugly head as he devises the most hideous fate possible for Karara, and a conscience-stricken Tamama leaps in to save his protege... who turns out to be a girl... and in love with Tamama for saving her.

|Giroro, Swimsuit Rescue Mission / Natsumi & Koyuki, Heart-Beating First Date
|As part of a deal made by Keroro before the Pekopon Invasion, an Events Alien kidnaps Natsumi and Fuyuki, warping them immediately to his space station as it orbits the Earth. The Keroro Platoon immediately launch a rescue mission, easily enterin the space station - which turns out to be a television station, complete with studios, costumes, props, and an alien version of voice actor Kumiko Watanabe.
|

When Natsumi announces that she is going on a date, an insanely jealous Giroro follows her in secret, leading Keroro and Tamama to follow him as well, on the pretext of observing typical dating behavior. Natsumi's date turns out to be Koyuki, whose ninja upbringing leads her to display some very atypical behavior indeed...

|Fuyuki & Momoka, Secret Of the Mysterious Date / Keroro, Let's Create A Game
|Fuyuki & Momoka, Secret Of the Mysterious Date / Keroro, Let's Create A Game
|We are introduced to the Japanese cultural phenomenon of Seven School Mysteries this week. When Fuyuki announces a field trip for the school Occult Club to a disused schoolhouse, Momoka is only too eager to follow along. What they don't realise is that Keroro's latest scheme involves turning the old schoolhouse into a tourist spot, complete with Keronian technology-driven ghostly FX, and Fuyuki and Momoka are about to become involuntary <s>guinea pigs</s> first customers...
|

Keroro hatches yet another scheme, this time involving the creation of a hit video game. Kururu brings out the Idea-Materialising Monitor (Floorboard version), which renders people's thoughts as full-color 3D holograms, and one game idea after another is developed - and rejected by Keroro, resulting in everyone leaving the project. Dororo manges to talk Keroro into apologising to his game staff and restarting the project, which successfully reaches the beta testing stage - and the real chaos begins, as the game turns out to be a little TOO interactive...

|Keroro, Huge Transformation! A Massive Remodeling / Dororo, Destiny Showdown
|Summer vacation time rolls around at last. Watching a Japanese version of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition gives Keroro the idea of remodelling the Hinata household - with a lot of needless, excessive and ultimately annoying features, like extra hallways, a kitchen coliseum straight out of Iron Chef, and a living room so huge that the TV is barely visible from the couch.
|

Rumors of an intelligent dog prowling the city reach the ears of the Keroro platoon. Keroro immediately hatches a scheme to catch this beast for his own purposes, while Dororo already knows who it is - his fellow ninja Zeroyasha, a ninja-trained wolfhound seeking him out for... a game of fetch?

Meanwhile, the Keroro platoon is trying to find its fourth member, even if it means scanning through all of Japan and its giftshops! But while Fuyuki starts to have suspicions that Mutsumi could be one of the infamous Men in Black, Mutsumi comes into the household at an incredibly fast pace, and his entrance is also completely suspicious. Is Mutsumi really a Man in Black, or is he the partner of someone incredibly special?

Aki is turned into a teenager by Kururu's new weapon - What If I Can Do Over My Life gun - and takes the opportunity to revisit her youth by going to her children's school. However, in Fuyuki's uniform, she is harassed and soon causes trouble for her son, as everyone thinks she is him. In the meantime, Keroro must find Aki, within 3 hours, or else the damage will be permanent.

13 26 June 2004 Dororo, the Forgotten Soldier/ Dororo and Koyuki's Beautiful Friendship As other alien invaders on earth are being exposed, the platoon becomes concerned for their own security. Soon an intruder is discovered, but she turns out to be Natsumi's new classmate and the friend of the missing Zeroro. Disappointed and feeling abandoned all those months, the new Dororo breaks off relations with the platoon. In the house, Keroro reflects back on how he, Giroro and Zeroro were childhood friends and included some of the trauma he caused. In the meantime, Dororo and Koyuki have been kidnapped by Viper. The platoon attempts a rescue operation, but is quickly defeated by Viper (who is much stronger than the incomplete platoon). A remorseful Keroro wholeheartedly apologizes to Dororo for breaking his prized music box and awakens him. The now complete platoon, using an energy ball defeats Viper. However, the shock of knowing that Keroro broke the music box greatly upsets Dororo and causes him to reconsider joining the platoon.
14 3 July 2004 5 Battle Together, The Biggest Battle In History To win back the nature loving Dororo, flowers are planted throughout the city. Though Natsumi is suspicious that Keroro might be up to his old tricks, all the flowers bloom and everybody is happy. Unkowing the garbage men take away all the flowers and everybody is depressed Natsumi feeling bad for the others begs them to have one more plant left, but the flowers then are taken away by Momoka. The next day Natsumi secretly plants one flower unknowing the flower is really the mutant plant starts hurting Natsumi, well maybe next time Natsumi shouldn't be so hard on Keroro!
15 10 July 2004 Momoka, Another Momoka Appears In a freak lightening accident, the violent aggressive Momoka is spun out of the usually sweet and docile one. The spiked hair Momoka using the vulgar male pronoun "ore" takes over the base and forms the new "Momoka Platoon" and starts the invasion of earth. Defeated, the inept Keroro goes into hibernation. Just as the violent Momoka is ready to push the button to launch the missile, the docile Momoka arrives in time to stop her other self from destroying the earth. They agrees to join back together in one body and will one day declare their love for Fuyuki. Keroro, revived, offers to join them through synchronized swimming. After a wonderful performance, a complete Momoka emerges from the pool. However, another complete form also emerges - the Keroro Giroro combination.
16 17 July 2004 Mois, Another Mois Comes / Mois, Mois Mois's Big Panic Members of the platoon and their human allies witness Mois beating up people and taking their money. In disbelief, they try to find clues to Mois's secret activities, but not even her videogram to her father yields any. Hurt that no one believes her innocent and at the same time embarrassed to tell them of her activities, Mois runs out. In pursuit, they encounter a delinquent Mois getting ready to harm some of Natsumi's classmates. To the rescue, Natsumi fights Mois, until another Mois appears. Through a flashback, Mois reveals that she modelled herself after Asami, a brave girl who had once defended the weak. Now Asami has become a delinquent and they must intervene to bring her back from her lone wolf days. Through Kururu's invention, Fuyuki's script, Mois's acting, and everyone else's assistance, they manage to have her return home.
17 24 July 2004 Keroro vs Natsumi, Battle In the Waters! / Fuyuki, Welcome To the Horror World It's summer, and the school swimming pool is open for use. While Fuyuki has been dreading this all year (he can't swim), Keroro hatches a new scheme to infiltrate the swimming pool and have some fun on his own, resulting in a confrontation with Natsumi in the pool, where Keroro's amphibious advantage over her is exploited to the fullest.

After the historic Earth vs Keron Swimming Meet, a second interplanetary competition begins at nighttime, as humans and Keronians duel each other with the scariest ghost stories they can think of. While Fuyuki's little-known talent for ghost stories wins the day, the only real loser here is Giroro, who gets jerry-rigged to a meter and subjected to all the scares (and some physical violence) from both sides...

18 31 July 2004 Natsumi Is Hilarious! Coast Story of An Adult It's time for another important summer ritual, the family trip to Doinaka Beach, but Hinata Aki is uable to accompany the children due to work commitments, leaving Natsumi and Fuyuki without an adult guardian... until Kururu reveals his latest invention, an age manipulation beam that turns Natsumi into a full-grown adult. An unexpected side effect causes Natsumi to utter 'old-man' jokes involuntarily, while Keroro's hidden angle and true reason for infiltrating the beach is revealed - the super-rare 'Dangale' knockoff model kits, offered as a prize for entering the Swimsuit Beauty Stand-Up Comic Competition.
19 7 August 2004 Keroro vs. Natsumi Festival Showdown! / Keroro, Your Ears Have Been Invaded By the Radio Low on invasion funds, the platoon takes on food vending and gaming jobs at a festival. Keroro's unscrupulous manners are challenged by Natsumi and they face off at a turtle fishing game. Defeated, the frogs are ready to leave the festival, until Natsumi told them that as long as they are legitimate, it doesn't matter who attends the festival. Stirred by her compassion, Giroro dashes to stop Keroro trump card, but instead find himself, Keroro, and Tamama sent into the air as part of the night's fireworks. The red and green are exceptionally beautiful, but no one can see the dark blue/black of Tamama - Tamaya!

Witnessing the power of radio, the platoon, minus Dororo, set out to jack all the stations and put on their own programming. Different and novel at first, the radio progam gains a huge draw. However, a poorly impersonated Sumomo-chan by Giroro quickly reverses that and soon listeners turn off their radio one by one..

20 14 August 2004 Fuyuki Meets A Girl / Fuyuki, Messenger of Nontolma The trip to the beach that Aki promised the children in episode 18 gets put off again due to car trouble, but living with aliens proves to have its advantges, as Natsumi finds out about the Keroro platoon's high-tech submarine, and begs them to take her to the beach - putting a slight dent in Keroro's newest scheme, to conquer the world through its oceans. Fuyuki comes along, hoping to gather some oceanic research to complete a school project, but winds up meeting a mysterious girl...

The girl's true origins are hinted at as the Keroro platoon's undersea flag-planting activities are met with substantial opposition - the ancient Nontolma civilisation, already angered by humanity's pollution of its oceans, and looking to make an example of the Keroro platoon.

21 21 August 2004 Keroro's Invasion Can Conserve Energy / Keroro Charges To the Countryside Keroro engineers some falsified invasion footage to send to Keron high command (and make some quick cash on the side) but a sudden city-wide power outage leaves this newest scheme in ruins, as Kururu conveniently forgot to save his progress. Also feeling the heat (literally) is Natsumi, without air-conditioning to beat the rising summer temperatures. Koyuki leaps to the rescue with some traditional summer rituals of her own, while Keroro's backup plan for the next power outage is less than successful.

Aki's car trouble has passed, resulting in a brief glimpse at her unique driving skills as the Hinata family (and three Keronians stowing away in the boot) take another field trip, to the countryside this time. Giroro runs off to do some survival training in the forest; Keroro joins Fuyuki for a round of baseball, but gets chased into the forest by a huge dog; Tamama engages a seemingly normal rhinoceros beetle in a martial arts duel; and we meet Grandmother Hinata, who not only learns about the Keronians on her own, but secretly lends them a hand.

22 28 August 2004 Tamama, From Now on, I'm in Command! Just as a complacent Keroro is happy being unchallenged in his position as the leader, a flying arrow message is shot from HQ -- "Tamama is captain." Keroro and the others are speechless at first, but following orders, Tamama becomes captain. Power corrupts Tamama and he soon turns into a monstrous tyrant by banishing anyone who disagrees with him, even his most beloved Gunsou-san. So what will happen to Keroro??
23 4 September 2004 Panic! The Noisiest Day of the Hinata Family Keroro steals the Kero Ball from Fuyuki's room, and accidentally clones 100 of himself, all just as lazy as the original. Kururu's attempt to rectify this situation turns them into mindless drones under Keroro's control, but just as this new power starts corrupting him, Kururu discovers that the malfunctioning Kero Ball may pose a bigger threat to Keroro himself...
24 11 September 2004 Keroro, The Space Detective of Righteousness and Poverty / 556 Employment On The Frontline Space Detective Gogoro (aka 556) and his sister Lavie formally debut in this episode. Keroro takes on this new adversary single-handedly - in a harmless, friendly tussle, as it is revealed that Keroro and 556 are old friends.

Life for interstellar immigrants is not an easy one - 556 is unable to hold down a proper job (his habit of collecting junk doesn't help), making Lavie the sole breadwinner - until Keroro tracks down the perfect job, allowing 556 to do what he does best.

25 18 September 2004 Momoka, Escapee of Love, Youth and Troubles This episode marks the formal debut of Nishizawa Bayo, Momoka's father and head of the Nishizawa Group. When Momoka refuses to join her father in Scotland in favor of spending more time with Fuyuki, Mr Nishizawa flies to Japan to meet with her instead, which gives Keroro the idea of pitting Keron's invasion force with the world-superpower-like Nishizawa group. When Momoka's current bodyguards fail to deter the superior forces of Mr Nishizawa's black ops brigade, Keroro formally intervenes, and the first true interplanetary conflict begins, as Keron's invasion forces go toe to toe against Earth's greatest military superpower!
26 25 September 2004 Keroro Unite Together! Let's Invade the Sports Meet The show shifts its focus back to Japanese culture this week, as we witness the autumn School Sports Meet - yet another thing Fuyuki has been dreading all year (re. ep 17). Natsumi on the other hand is excited about running in the three-legged race with her mother Aki - until she learns that work commitments have held up Aki yet again. Keroro schemes to win Natsumi's gratitude by infiltraiting the sports meet with Giroro and stalling the events until Aki can make it, while Tamama and Dororo head to Aki's office and attempt to speed up her work - but both efforts seem doomed to failure, forcing Giroro to act on his own.
27 2 October 2004 Keroro Father Kital and Father Frog / Keroro Hotspring GO! GO! GO! Keroro receives a letter from his father, rumored by many to be Keron's most fearsome soldier and commander, now planning to visit Earth. Keroro is forced to engineer a massive coverup for his lackluster 'invasion' of Earth, or risk his father's wrath...

Keroro's newest scheme involves creating his own onsen, by digging a new hot spring from the Keron underground base. After drilling underground in the Magma Swimmer drill tank, the Keronians discover buried alien relics left behind by an ancient invasion force, and chaos erupts as the ancient machines reactivate on their own and attack the Keronians - the ensuing battle leaves the Magma Swimmer exhausted of power, and the Keronians without any way to return to the surface...

28 9 October 2004 Keroro Snowball Fight Survival / Kururu's Ku Ku Ku The platoon, having never experienced snow, joins the humans in a snowball fight. To make the game more interesting, they designate hostages and a time limit to capture the enemy flag and free their comrade. Paul and Giroro get caught up in the game while everyone else has moved onto building snow creatures.

The narrator's reading of the script upon introducing Kururu makes him want to prove how much of a bad ass jerk he really is. For each victim, he devices a unique plan. All attempts to reason with him fails, even threats of violence. However, it's Mois' pure and innocent heart that finally cracks the depressing jerk. He can't stand her shiny innocent eyes.

29 16 October 2004 Natsumi and Koyuki's Youthful Stage Debut / Keroro Scoop NG It's time for the school drama club's annual production. Natsumi's two recurring classmates beg her to help them in their stage production of Peter Pan, and while Koyuki relishes the idea of performing alongside Natsumi, it turns out that stage acting is one of the few things Natsumi is completely hopeless at. Keroro offers his assistance yet again, subjecting Natsumi to all forms of stage training - but just as she gets her act together, the sight of Saburo in the audience watching her performance reduces her to the same hopeless state she began in. Keroro intervenes in full view of the audience, and rapidly escalating chaos ensues.

Also in the audience was one of the three new characters debuting this week - the school news club, or Kishou Gakuen Shinbunbu aka KGS. It turns out that they have been carrying out their own investigations on every one of the Keroro platoon's school infiltration shenanigans, down to Fuyuki's connection to these alien invaders, and they plan to break into the Hinata household to search for evidence - but Keroro, now grounded and barred from Gunpla-shopping after being spotted by the KGS in public, has every intention of taking the battle to them.

30 23 October 2004 Tamama, Youth From Keron Planet / Momoka's Ideal Nice Body We meet Taruru, one of Tamama's martial arts students, who lands on Earth to visit his number one idol Tamama - who's been secretly feeding a pile of hogwash to the boys back home, embellishing his own image while deflating everyone else around him (except Keroro). Only after Taruru leaves do the three remaining Keronians, the Hinata children, Paul and Momoka gather around Tamama and exact some overdue justice.

Momoka hatches a plan to make herself more physically attractive to Fuyuki, and Tamama enlists Keroro's assistance in this matter. A large number of Kururu's inventions get showcased here (and tested on Giroro, with painful results), but just as Momoka loses all hope, she chances upon something new - Hinata Aki DNA Pills, which prove a little too effective... and not just on Momoka...

31 30 October 2004 Keroro, Wanting To Go Back Home, But Can't A restless Keroro hops on his new space motorbike KRR-SP and takes off... His bike breaks down and strands him in the middle of nowhere. Cold, hungry and lonely, Keroro wants to go home, but can't. He doesn't even know where he is, except in the mountains. It's now up to Natsumi to go out and bring her stupid frog back home.
32 6 November 2004 Keroro Animal Platoon Assemble / Giroro Wants To Say Keroro's latest scheme involves recruiting Earth's animals into his invasion army, with the help of Kururu's 'We All Live Together' beam gun that turns animals into humans. The scheme predictably backfires, as none of the animals are interested in joining Keroro at all - even the mighty Bengal Tiger, spoiling for a fight from the moment he is turned, is against the idea of going to war. When Keroro unwittingly reveals his intention to replace the Keroro platoon with animals, the normally loyal soldiers stand aside as Keroro raises more animals than he can lay down.

The cat that Giroro brought in from the rain has now become his most loyal companion, so much that it's started to express great jealousy in Natsumi's presence. When a distressed Giroro wants to give Natsumi a pinecone pendant but can't, the cat feels his distress and wants to help, but also can't... until the 'We All Live Together' beam gun winds up in its paws.

33 13 November 2004 Keroro Platoon Invades Pekopon In the Anime Witnessing the merchandising power of the 'Admiral Geroro' anime, Keroro hatches a new scheme to conquer Earth throuugh the creation of his own anime - but the actual process, from storyboarding to artwork to animation, prove far too troublesome and frustrating for the Keroro platoon to handle. They pay a visit to an actual animation studio, picking up the tricks of the trade, and after returning to work, the final product is ready for viewing - but Keroro decides that more work is needed, and returns to the research & developement stage (the fact that said final product turned out to be quite horrible isn't even brought up).
34 20 November 2004 Momoka vs. Koyuki Hotspring Battle / Keroro and Fuyuki Go Together After experimenting with several types of fortune-telling, Momoka learns that her romantic destiny with Fuyuki will be realised in an onsen. Thus she engineers a scheme of her own, allowing Fuyuki to 'win' an onsen trip for the whole Hinata family and one guest... problems arise when Keroro and Koyuki have their minds set on that guest ticket at the same time. While Keroro is easily dispatched with the task of solving a Rubik's Cube, Kururu forces Momoka and Koyuki to battle each other for the guest ticket, and tradition clashes with technology as Koyuki pits her ninja skills against Momoka's new robotic battlesuit!

Fuyuki is late for school, while Keroro is fleeing Natsumi's wrath after breaking her mug - the two meet each other on a shortcut to school. With Mutsumi standing in for the narrator, the simple act of walking down this seldom-used lane, filled with old memories and new discoveries, turns into an evening to remember.

35 27 November 2004 Top Secret! Natsumi's Birthday Strategy It was Natsumi birthday, Keroro plans a surprised party for her with the help of Tamama, Giroro, Mois, Kururu and while Fuyuki in the other hand, felt that the surprised party will not going to work. So will the surprised party for Natsumi works or not??
36 4 December 2004 Keroro Death Battle! Gunso vs. General Fuyu / Fuyuki That's How It Is, Nishizawa-San Winter looms and temperatures take a dive - Keroro is introduced to Fuyu-Shogun, the General of Winter, which is really just a term given to the cold air currents originating from Siberia, but Keroro visualises Fuyu-Shogun as something resembling Demon Emperor Arago from Yoroiden Samurai Troopers. When the simple act of stepping out the front door proves too much for Keroro, he decides to go through endurance training to combat the cold front, and subjecting the Hinata children to the blizzard simulation against their will only shows them to be far more resourceful than Keroro was.

When Tamama tells Momoka about the blizzard simulation and the accidents that followed, Momoka offers to let the Keroro platoon continue training on her private snowy mountain resort - with the real intention of getting closer to Fuyuki, as usual. While the Keroro platoon starts trekking up the hazardous snowy mountains, Momoka puts her own plan into motion, activating the mountain resort's snow generators - but Kururu chooses to activate his private satellite's weather manipulation function at the same time, and the mountain resort is plunged into an artificial ice age.

37 11 December 2004 Dororo To The Ninja Classroom / Keroro's Dinosaur Keroro's latest scheme involves making Dororo give ninja lessons to raise money for the platoon. When nobody actually signs up for said lessons, Keroro makes the rest of the platoon learn Dororo's ninja arts instead - but none of them seem to be serious about learning anything. To make matters worse, 556 sees their ninja lessons as competition against his own attempt to give Space Detective lessons, and tries to shut the operation down.

After Natsumi's radio show was interrupted by 556's invasion, it gets interrupted yet again by a pterodactyl flying into her room - it turns out that Keroro, inspired by a certain Hollywood movie, is using Keronian technology to clone dinosaur DNA and open a theme park featuring said dinosaurs. Using Kururu's mind control apparatus, Keroro has tamed a tyrannosaurus into doing his bidding, but an accident causes the mind control cone to come off the T-Rex's head (and onto Giroro's head), causing it to run wild through the underground base.

38 18 December 2004 Giroro Love Robot Soldiers / Giroro vs. Natsumi Re-encounter... As part of a galactically-broadcast Candid Camera-esque program, Keroro plays a prank on Giroro, with the help of a Pekopon suit modelled after Natsumi, with Sumomo at the controls. Hilarity ensues as Giroro distracts himself from faux-Natsumi's advances with physical training and weapons maintenance - causing an exasperated Sumomo to attack Giroro, and incurring the wrath of the real Natsumi when she sees her own towel-clad self leaping across town. When she opts to stop them on her own, Kururu gives her his latest invention - the Natsumi battlesuit.

Natsumi finds herself stuck with Kururu's battlesuit, which has a tendency to activate when anyone nearby utters something even remotely sounding like the attack command. When the invade command kicks in, the battlesuit AI takes over Natsumi completely, causing her to destroy anything the Keroro platoon sends after her. Giroro is forced to confront her as well, and Kururu gives him the battlesuit deacivation code... "Natsumi, my love. Kiss me tender and hold me tight, forever!"

39 25 December 2004 Keroro Christmas Battle / Keroro Spring Cleaning Battle Keroro hatches a new scheme for the Christmas season, but Dororo and Tamama refuse to go with it for different reasons. Tamama tells Keroro about Santa Claus, who knows when you've been naughty or nice, prompting Keroro to carry out investigations on Santa Claus. Unfortunately the Christmas season of cheer and good will begin to take efect, as Keroro's remaining loyalists Giroro and Kururu desert him as well. Left to his own devices, Keroro begins to discover the Christmas spirit in a way he hadn't really expected.

Keroro is unusually hot-blooded about spring-cleaning time, taking charge of housecleaning operations in the Hinata household, and imparting valuable tips and tricks to the Hinata family. At the end of the day, human and Keronian alike sit down for noodles, listen to the bells, and welcome the new year.

40 8 January 2005 Mois, Happy New Year? / Keroro The Food Is Good, Same For Homework It's the first episode of the new year - and the Keroro platoon's New Year celebrations involve subjecting Giroro to different forms of abuse for some reason. While discussing new year resolutions, Angol Mois is reluctant to reveal hers, until a reaction in her alien physiology, triggered by Keroro's suspiciously glowing 'red bean soup', causes her to go completely berserk.

The Keroro platoon receive some mail from well-wishers at home, the Keronian children - and at least one reminder from Keron high command, ordering Keroro to submit a large amount of overdue homework immediately. With the help of his loyal troops, Keroro overcomes every possible distraction and completes the homework on time... but one last obstacle looms on the horizon...

41 15 January 2005 Keroro Invasion Strategy / Dororo Is a Fiery Spirit Kururu develops a seemingly innocent board game which shrinks Natsumi and Fuyuki and places them in the middle of the action. Landing on any rewards and penalties on the squares turns them into reality, and while Fuyuki gets sidetrips to assorted wonders of the world, Natsumi winds up executing one impossible stunt after another. The final square is revealed to trigger the Keronian invasion, but this scheme falls apart as the square before it summons Angol Mois' father, the original Destroyer of Worlds!

Inspired by the sight of 556's attention-grabbing antics, Dororo asks him for help - and is fed with 556's vitriol and drive for life. Returning to the Keronian base, a pumped-up Dororo rallies his fellow soldiers, pushing them through all forms of training in order to master a new combined battle technique - but all his efforts to strengthen his own presence fall flat, as the other four promptly forget about him the moment they put their training to actual use.

42 22 January 2005 Keroro and The Red-Blooded Keroro Platoon / Tamama, Envious Friendship Shot Inspired by watching World Cup soccer on TV, Keroro plans on pitting the superior Keronian forces against the best Earth has to offer - on the soccer field. Answering this challenge on the planet's behalf is Paul Japan, a team of top soccer players handpicked by Paul to defend the pride of soccer as a human sport.

Tamama makes friends with a boy he sees practicing his soccer moves everyday. He joins the boy in his daily routine, but wind up busting the boy's old soccer ball by accident - fortunately the vast resources of the Nishizawa Peach Group fix the ball exactly as it was. Eventually, the boy learns to shed his defensive mindset and play better than he ever could, and Tamama has someone he can truly call a friend.

43 29 January 2005 Giroro The Red Demon Who Cannot Cry / Giroro, Flying into Setsubun Inspired by a Japanese fairytale of the Red and Blue Oni, Keroro devices a plan to win over Natsumi. Playing the Blue Oni, a bad guy who was only doing so to bring happiness to his friends, he tries to force a romantic situation between her and Giroro. However, nothing goes to plan and the special romantic moment is shared by the Red and Green Alien instead.

Deciding that it is better to be the Red Oni, Keroro is quickly pelted with soybean by Natsumi on Setsubun. Wanting revenge, he has Kururu turn her into an Oni girl via the Oni ray gun. Now all soybean products are attacking Oni Natsumi and not even Giroro can save her. Being cornered, Natsumi almost yields to Keroro until Fuyuki reveals that Natsumi is a Thunder God.

44 5 February 2005 Keroro vs. Fuyuki Heated Sports Match / Kururu vs. Aki, Exploding Invasion of Robo Kururu proposes a formal competition to compare human and Keronian physical proficiency. Natsumi, still seething after the events of episode 17, accepts Keroro's challenge, whereupon Keroro picks Fuyuki as his opponent. Momoka's snowy mountain complex forms the backdrop as Keroro and Fuyuki go to battle in winter sports, but one unexplained phenomena after another (a freak updraft, a stray missile, a bobsled rail coming off for no reason) threaten to throw the competition into disarray.

All the happenings in the first act are finally explained - Kururu's true intention was to build and test his new giant robot (which eager test pilot Hinata Aki dubs the Autumn H), without unnecessary distracions from the Hinata children and his fellow soldiers. Unfortunately Aki goes crazy with the robot's weapons, forcing Kururu to move out in the Kururu Robo to bring her in, resulting in all the unexplained phenomena from the first act.

45 12 February 2005 Keroro, Sudden Love for Dango / Natsumi and Momoka, Valentine Operation Initiated It's the day before Valentine's day, and Keroro, inspired by the sales of chocolate on this occasion, plans on cashing in by manufacturing and selling traditional ikinari dango or sweet potato snacks, as a substitute for traditional Valentine's Day chocolate. Unfortunately, all tthe marketing and promotional power of the Keroro platoon fail to overturn international tradition, and Keroro is left with stacks and stacks of ikinari dango that will haunt him for many episodes to come.

Valentine's Day arrives at last, and whether it be chocolate handmade from store-bought ingredients or coca flown from Ghana by the Nishizawa Peach Group, Natsumi and Momoka are on a sacred mission to give their chocolates to the men in their lives (Saburo and Fuyuki respectively), but each has her own obstacles to overcome - Natsumi's own nerves get the better of her at each turn, and Momoka watches helpless as Fuyuki receives Valentine's Day chocolate from other girls (Fuyuki himself has a different sort of problem, in the form of the combined jealousy of the menfolk of Kisshou Gakuen.)

46 19 February 2005 Keroro, Do Not Tell Me You Have Forgotten? Spooky happenings take place in the Hinata household, and Natsumi is first to point fingers at Keroro - but Keroro's air-tight alibi leaves everyone puzzled. This somehow leads to bigger unexplained manifestations, and finding the logical explanations for them leads to one final manifestation, as the Hinata house ghost is sick and tired of everyone forgetting her existence by simply explaining it away.

A ghost with a grievance is a powerful thing indeed, as the house ghost spirits Natsumi and Keroro away, and her long and painful history is revealed at last - as a child, she found a kappa (an amphibious Japanese demon), befriended it, and was deemed a heretic and locked in a vault by her fellow villagers for it...

47 26 February 2005 Natsumi, Protect Hinamatsuri / Keroro Becomes Afro The story begins with Natsumi inviting Koyuki to spend Hinamatsuri, the Japanese Girls' Festival, at the Hinata household. Keroro intervenes once again, hoping to 'spice up' the traditional festival in his own way, and Kururu unveils his newest invention - Kururuko, a Cardcaptor Sakura-inspired Pekopon suit, its perfect human likeness spoiled by Kururu's attempt at a girly voice from inside it. Kururuko then proceeds to send the humans into a holographic realm, introducing them to Hinamatsuri, Outer Space style.

Debuting in this episode is Dance Man, the white-suited afro-coifed singer of the Afro Gunso closing theme... and Dasonu Maso, his alien bootleg version. The story begins when Keroro tricks Natsumi with what appears to be a Dance Man concert ticket, but ripping off the counterfoil summons Dasonu Maso from deep space, and Natsumi is subjected to the truths of Dasonu Maso as well as the threat of her very own afro....

48 5 March 2005 Keroro Platoon, Spring's U-La-La Battle / Fuyuki No-No Hazzard Rescue Mission Springtime rolls in at last, and a form of seasonal laziness begins to affect all people - which inspires Keroro's latest scheme, to channel the energies of the world's laziest lifeforms and use it against the people of Earth. Kururu creates a reactor chamber to house this 'Keron March Energy', and a succesful test with 556 as the subject is run, but things go horribly wrong when Kururu opens the reactor to let out 556... and all the Keron March Energy at the same time...

Keron March Energy spreads rapidly throughout the city, and it's up to Fuyuki, protected from the ominous fog by his diving suit from episode 20, to put a stop to this. Making his way through the underground base, Fuyuki uncovers one cryptic clue after another, and finally locates Keroro - trapped by the now self-aware Keron March Energy (bearng a strange resemblance to Ayanami Rei of Neon Genesis Evangelion), which threatens to bring about the end of the world with March Impact.

49 '12 March 2005 Kururu, The Best Method in Space / Momoka, White Top Operation Kururu passes on to his platoonmates his new 'life policy' - do something you don't normally do. After seeing Natsumi and Fuyuki react to Kururu's revised behavior with gratitude, the other Keronians take to this new attitude with great zeal - Keroro in particular gets the wrong idea and winds up doing a lot of needless and ultimately annoying things. Even his personal attempt at triggering the Pekopon Invasion goes awry when his congenital ineptitude gets the better of him.

March 14 is White Day, the day that boys who received Valentine's Day chocolates (re. ep 45) get to give something back, and Momoka gets a box of cookies from Fuyuki, which she proceeds to display in her private vault (the cookies that is). However Momoka is looking forward to something more - the perfect date with Fuyuki, and Paul enlists the Nishizawa Peach Group's vast resources to create the Super Version Simulator, a virtual reality chamber to determine every possible outcome of Momoka's date with Fuyuki, taking into account every possible situation, down to possible interference from practically every other character in the show... save for one...

50 19 March 2005 Natsumi, Warrior of Earth with a Fever / Giroro, If I Don't Do It, Then Who Will? After doing some digging around in his tent, Giroro comes across a dvd of the Keroro Platoon's press conference before they left for Earth. While watching, he realizes just how far the Keroro Platoon has fallen from their original duties. The Keroro Platoon decides to go back to its old ways and take over the Hinata house. But how can they get past Natsumi Hinata, the demonlord of the house? Or will a serious fever take her down for them?

An irregular fever causes Natsumi to go bedridden, with the Platoon fearing for her life. Giroro's love for Natsumi gets the best of him once more as he battles with a Space Cerberus.

51 26 March 2005 Keroro Platoon Retreats! Good-bye, Pekopon Keroro was asked by the conductor for them to go back to Keron. Kururu then erases all the humans' memories. What will become of them?

Season 2 (2005 - 2006)

Episode Airdate Title Synopsis
52 1 April 2005 Keroro, Standing on Earth Once Again! / Tamama, Black Tamama The new season of Keroro Gunso kicks off with a bang - a somewhat familiar bang, since the Keroro Platoon is starting the Pekopon invasion once again. After successfully infiltrating Fuyuki's room and taking back the Kero Ball, Keroro attempts to trigger the Pekopon invasion on his own - and fails, of course, but for some reason three of his platoonmates aren't here to share in his defeat....

When Fuyuki receives a dubious phone call from Momoka, he rushes to her aid, and finds out that Tamama, thought to be MIA all this time, has carried out his own Pekopon invasion by destroying the mansion and taking Momoka hostage. Only after Keroro busts out the Keroro Robo for the first time and butts in is the entire scene revealed to be yet another plan for Momoka to get closer to Fuyuki.

53 8 April 2005 Keroro, Plan to Invade the Treasures / Angol Mois, More More Flower-Seeing For his latest scheme, Keroro convinces Fuyuki to follow him on a trip to assorted wonders of the world - Stonehenge, Easter Island and the city of MachuPicchu in Peru, to name a few. The general consensus is that these unexplained structures were built by aliens centuries ago, and Keroro hopes to find some useful technology to aid the invasion, but their exact purpose and function is something no scientist or researcher (human or Keronian) has ever come close to... until now. It's a revelation that will change the way we see our very world.

It's time for the hanabi, the traditional sakura-viewing festival - but Angol Mois lands in the Hinata backyard and gets to work destroying the Earth, causing all the sakura to fall off the trees. Tamama takes the opportunity to hammer as much guilt on Mois as possible, but Mois takes it all in stride, even promising to make the sakura bloom again - but will this task prove to be beyond the ability of the resident Destroyer of Worlds?

54 15 April 2005 Fuyuki, I am a Famous Investigator? / Dororo, the Revived Soldier Fuyuki's little-known investigative talents get showcased in this episode. Keroro gets inspired to start his own private detective agency, and the first thing he does is recruit Space Detective 556 - but winds up with his first case instead, as 556 is found laying motionless in his own apartment, with no signs of forced entry...

Dororo, who's supposedly gone MIA all this time, has in fact been secretly honing his ninja skills. At the same time, the Hinata family and Keroro platoon make their yearly visit to Grandmother Hinata in the coutryside, where Grandmother Hinata relates to the children some rumors of a demon moving through the forests... which just happen to be Dororo's training grounds.

55 22 April 2005 Giroro, the Resurrected Soldier / Fuyuki, Swimming Carp Flags!

56 29 April 2005 Natsumi and Koyuki, Princess of Tennis / Keroro, Hope the Weather Clears Up For the Invasion Koyuki makes her long-awaited return this week.

57 6 May 2005 Dororo, An Innate Rebel / Huge Frog Against The Freak Of the Southern Seas After being rudely interrupted at the end of episode 54, it's finally Dororo's turn in the spotlight - and just in time, as the elder brother of the Viper who was defeated in episode 13 is out for revenge.

58 13 May 2005 Dororo, Invade the Vending Machine / Tamama Awakens! Secret Technique Keroro's latest scheme involves using soft drink vending machines to invade Earth, and Kururu suggests spiking the drinks with Keron March Energy (re.

59 20 May 2005 Keroro, The Cultivated Castle!

60 27 May 2005 Keroro, Keroro Machine Race / Mois, Hope That the Sleeping Princess Rests?

61 3 June 2005 Fuyuki, What Happened To the Mysterious Transfer Student? / Natsumi and Saburo, The Two Who Are Unable To Return This week, we meet the mysterious transfer student Kinoshita Rei.

62 10 June 2005 Momoka, Natsumi and Mois, Phantom Thief MorePeachSummer / Keroro, Victory! Battle In the Waters When Nishizawa Bayo receives a threat from a group of professional cat burglars known only as More-Peach-Summer, he immediately enlists the help of Fuyuki in cracking this case.

63 17 June 2005 Keroro, Story Of Teacher Keroro! / Keroro, Reunion With Father In order to complete and submit a report on young human behavior to Keron high command, Keroro must disguise himself as a human teacher and infiltrate Fuyuki's school.

64 24 June 2005 Keroro, If You Want To Suck, Suck! Give Up On Lying / Dororo, Escape From Trauma Summer rains escalate into a veritable monsoon season, posing a problem for the Hinata household as damp laundry begins to accumulate - Keroro hoards the damp laundry in his room, and the rising humidity brings back the threat of a Nyororo from space.

65 1 July 2005 Keroro, Bark At Pekopon / Tamama, A Visitor From Keron Planet When Keroro's favourite anime is interrupted due to a faulty transmission, Kururu busts out a galactic antenna for the TV, which proves to be so powerful that the Keroro platoon wind up listening in on Galactic Police radio broadcasts.

66 8 July 2005 Giroro, Swimsuit Rescue Mission / Natsumi & Koyuki, Heart-Beating First Date As part of a deal made by Keroro before the Pekopon Invasion, an Events Alien kidnaps Natsumi and Fuyuki, warping them immediately to his space station as it orbits the Earth.

67 15 July 2005 Fuyuki & Momoka, Secret Of the Mysterious Date / Keroro, Let's Create A Game We are introduced to the Japanese cultural phenomenon of Seven School Mysteries this week. When Fuyuki announces a field trip for the school Occult Club to a disused schoolhouse, Momoka is only too eager to follow along. What they don't realise is that Keroro's latest scheme involves turning the old schoolhouse into a tourist spot, complete with Keronian technology-driven ghostly FX, and Fuyuki and Momoka are about to become involuntary guinea pigs first customers...

68 22 July 2005 Keroro, Huge Transformation! A Massive Remodeling / Dororo, Destiny Showdown Summer vacation time rolls around at last.
