Garret Dillahunt (born November 24, 1964) is an American actor. He is married to actress Michelle Hurd.
Biography
Early life
Dillahunt was born in Castro Valley, California, U.S.. He grew up in the state of Washington and attended the University of Washington where he studied journalism. He later went on to study at New York University's graduate acting program.[1]
Acting career
After spending years on and off Broadway,[2] Dillahunt began pursuing television and film roles. He appeared as a regular in several short lived series on ABC and Showtime and landed guest spots on popular TV shows such as The X Files and NYPD Blue[3] among others, before playing two distinct characters on the HBO series Deadwood; Jack McCall in 2004 and Francis Wolcott in 2005. Dillahunt also portrayed the character of Steve Curtis, in several episodes of the NBC television series ER in 2005 and 2006. Dillahunt followed that with the role of Dr. Michael Smith in the 2007 HBO drama, John From Cincinnati and is currently Cromartie on FOX's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles".
