The original entrance to Aarhus Kunstbygning. The main entrance is now on the other side of the building.

Kunsthal Aarhus or the Aarhus Art Hall is a cultural exhibition centre in Aarhus, in Denmark.

Originally constructed in 1917 in a design by Danish architect Axel Høeg-Hansen and used to show modern art, the building was later also used for other purposes until 1972, when the Aarhus Municipality took over the building and it was renovated by C. F. Møller Architects. The same firm designed two later additions, in 1993 and 2003,[1] which doubled the exhibition space and increased the number of visitors.[2]

It has 1000 square metres of exhibition halls making it one of Denmark’s largest and most important venues for contemporary art. On display are solo exhibitions, thematic exhibitions, special exhibitions and dialogue exhibitions between Danish and foreign artists covering all fields of artwork from painting and sculpture to photography, film and video.
