This is a list of protagonists and villans from the Time Crisis series

Protagonists

Robert Baxter

Robert Baxter is the second main protagonist in Time Crisis II. Robert was a partner of Keith Martin as they team up as they take on the enemy terrorists that get on their path. Baxter served as a US Navy SEAL prior to his service in the VSSE. On paper, Robert is a school bus driver. In reality, Robert is one of VSSE's senior agents. He is known as Griffon, the Treasure Keeper.

Evan Bernard

Evan Bernard is one of the two chief protagonists in Time Crisis 4. Evan resembled a look-alike of Tidus from Final Fantasy X and X-2. Evan was a famous fisherman from France, though at the same time proved his prowess for protecting the public good by serving in the French coast guard. Like his "calmer partner" Bruno, Bernard also graduated from a baccaulareate-granting college, specifically Rouen University. Evan is usually teamed up with Italian VSSE operative Giorgio Bruno. Evan can get cheeky and childish at times during VSSE operation missions, and unlike many VSSE agents, Evan holds his handgun with two hands. He's voiced by Hiroaki Miura for the Japanese cabinets and by Travis Willingham for the non-Japanese cabinets.

Giorgio Bruno

Giorgio Bruno is one of the two chief protagonists in Time Crisis 4. Giorgio was saved by a policeman when he was 10 years old as his family was murdered, and returned the favor by vowing to protect the public good when he grew up as he adopted to a life of problem-solving responsibility. Prior to his service as a VSSE agent, Bruno was an Italian police officer, and a graduate at a baccalaurate-granting university somewhere at Sicily. He has long brown hair, has a moustache, and wears small earrings. Giorgio is usually teamed up with French VSSE operative Evan Bernard, can hold a gun with one hand (like almost all VSSE agents), and is much more calm and relaxed than his partner. Giorgio's voiced by Hiroaki Miura for the Japanese cabinets and by David Vincent for the non-Japanese cabinets.

Elizabeth Conway

Beth is one of the two deuteragonists in Time Crisis 4. A 25-year old First Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and an operative of the U.S. Joint Intelligence Division. Lt. Conway graduated as an Air Force ROTC cadet at the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis. She coordinates Rush, Giorgio, and Evan from the Air Surveillance Center, an airborne communication center that is utilized to direct the actions of the entire U.S. military. During a mission, Elizabeth is referred by her code name Beth. Beth is voiced by Mariko Suzuki for the Japanese cabinets, and by Karen Thompson for the non-Japanese cabinets.

Alan Dunaway

Alan Dunaway is one of the two chief protagonists in Time Crisis 3. Alan has a talent for mastering new skills quickly, and is best known for his reputation for unparralleled fearlesness in the face of incredible odds. While cool, attractive, stylish and popular-looking, Alan is a natural team player, although he used to make pranks on others but he never usually gives up on his mission as a VSSE agent. Alan's four-year performance earned him the respect of many seniors before him. Alan is known as Phoenix.

Wesley Lambert

Wesley Lambert is one of the two chief protagonists in Time Crisis 3. A proven marksman of the agency, Wesley was a friendly, quiet, smart, reserved, and cheerful-looking boy, and he currently holds a doctorate degree in engineering. Wesley is best known for his unflappability in extreme situations, where he can make snap decisions strategically. Wesley is also a natural animal-lover/caretaker. Because Alan and Wesley get along extremely well, they are diffrent from other VSSE agents and/or VSSE teams. Wesley is known by the VSSE through his code name Pegasus.

Keith Martin

Keith Martin is the first main protagonist Time Crisis II, sent by the VSSE alongside Robert Baxter to protect both Christy Ryan and the reputation of the VSSE. Before Keith became a VSSE operations agent, he served as a trooper in the SAS of the British military. On paper, Keith is a special effects technician and a stunt double for various movies and action TV shows. In reality, Keith is one of VSSE's senior agents. Keith is known as Cherub, Eden's Guardian.

Claude McGarren

(Misspelled as "Croad MacGalain" in the arcade version)

Claude is the protagonist of Crisis Zone. First Platoon Leader of the Special Tactical Force, and is probably the STF's equivalent to the VSSE's Richard Miller. In both the British SAS and the STF fronts, Claude is seen and perceived as a loyal, selfless trooper who seeks to retain the peace, and seeks to nullify terrorism at its earliest possible stages. Claude, like Keith, served in the British SAS prior to his coronation to the STF.

Richard Miller

Richard Miller is the protagonist of Time Crisis. The current ace of VSSE as the agency knows it, Richard often conducted solo missions, thus many authorities hail him as being the one-man army. Richard served as a US Marine during the Gulf War, where he learned how to use various munitions responsively and accurately. Combined with his lightning-quick reflexes, these skills allowed Richard to infiltrate and pursue antagonists secretly and swiftly. Because of Richard's immense abilities, Wild Dog hates him. Richard's milestones consists of the following: elimination of the Los Meurtos drug cartel, infiltration of the criminal organization Wild Dogs and Kantaris, securing Sercia's democracy and returning Rachel MacPherson back to William MacPherson "all in one piece", and clearing his name from a crime he didn't commit and exposing the reasons why he got framed.

William Rush

Rush is one of the two deuteragonists in Time Crisis 4. A 33-year old Captain of the U.S. Army and an operative in the U.S. Joint Intelligence Division. An accomplished Joint Intelligence officer, one of Rush's proudest moments was when he arrested a couple of U.S. marines for being involved in a huge South American drug cartel. Rush comes from a highly-military lineage, which his father is currently serving as a lieutenant general of the U.S. Army. Rush also served as part of the TF-11 (11th task force) prior to being transferred to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Division. Rush graduated at the University of Texas in Dallas as an Army ROTC cadet. When the U.S.J.I.D. realized the information leak that possibly could jeopardize the reputation of the VSSE. agents, Rush was sent to report the leakage to the VSSE and assist the operatives in their mission to pursue the traitors and curb the treasonous acts of the Hamlin Battalion. Rush fights alongside the VSSE agents, informs them of their enemies' identity in the beginning, and even rallies the remaining forces of the Colorado Air Force Base to fight off the depredations of the Hamlin Battalion and the "Terror Bites". Being a true American at heart, Rush has zero tolerance against those who serve, but taint the pride and serenity of the United States. Rush is voiced by Christopher Sabat for the English cabinets, and by Akio Ohtsuka in the Japanese cabinets.

Alicia Winston

Alicia is the deuteragonist of Time Crisis 3. A member of the Lukano Liberation Army and the sister of Daniel Winston. Originally trained as a medic, Alicia has proved her combat skills in the field as an excellent sniper. On the mission to destroy the tactical missiles on Astigos Island, most of the Lukano Liberation Army was captured, making Alicia Lukano's last hope. Using her Eyes Only Clearance, she manages to make contact with Alan and Wesley, whom she supports in their assault against the Zagorias Army. Alicia also manages to take down Jake Hernandez, who had betrayed the Lukano Liberation Army. Alicia is only playable on the PlayStation2 release of the game.

Villans

Gregory Barrows

A 48-year old Lieutenant Colonel of the U.S. Army and the leader of the U.S. Bio-Weapon Special Ops, otherwise known as the Hamlin Battalion. Barrows is the chief antagonist of the game. Shortly after the creation of the new bio-weapon, "Terror Bite", Barrows turned against his country, became power-hungry, and opted to use the Terror Bites in his plan to destroy the United States of America. Barrows uses two Desert Eagle pistols. His fighting style is similar to Wild Dog's at the time of Time Crisis. Barrows wore a bionic left eye that perform two functions: it emit signals so that the Terror Bites doesn't attack Barrows, and also control the actions of the bio-weapons as well.

Ricardo Blanco

The man behind the shooting of the Caruban president whilst dressed as Richard Miller. Ricardo was hired by Wild Dog to capture the president alive & deliver him to Wild Dog, framing Richard Miller. Ricardo did that, but was found by Richard. The two had a shootout, which Richard won, though he didn't finish Ricardo off. However, before Ricardo can answer any questions, Wild Dog shows up on a helicopter & finishes Ricardo off. In his dying breath, Ricardo tells Richard where Wild Dog is hiding. He is the boss of level 2, & uses a rifle, which he is able to fire quite rapidly.

Ernesto Diaz

Ernesto Diaz is the main villain Time Crisis II. He was once an Amercian military Officer. Under the guise of a "Starline Network" to unite the world, he planned to launch a military satellite. He recruits Wild Dog as a security force. In the final duel against VSSE agents Keith Martin and Robert Baxter, he grabbed Chrstie Ryan and tried to use her as a shield against the agents. When that failed, he tried to throw her off to her death, but Baxter managed to save her. Diaz died when he fell down and into the satellite launchpad, destroying both him and the satellite.

Sherudo Garo

The last blood relative of the Sercian royal family. Sercia was once a monarchy until it was overthrown in the Sercian Revolution by William MacPherson, who later went on to be president of the newly-established Republic of Sercia. Determined to regain his birthright, Sherudo abducted the president's daughter, Rachel. In exchange for Rachel's life, Sherudo demanded to be made the dictator of Sercia for life. This plan was spoiled by the VSSE agent, Richard Miller, who killed Sherudo in a duel of gun against knives.

Kantaris

Little is known about this mysterious leader of the Kantaris criminal organization. Established long before the formation of the Republic of Sercia, the Kantaris organization was responsible for a number of large-scale crimes including arms dealing, drug dealing, theft, forgery and fraud. The leader Kantaris herself owned the Chateau du Luc, a luxury hotel that also served as a front for a weapons factory. While VSSE Intel came up empty on Kantaris, the agency does have positive verification that the Kantaris Organization itself is Wild Dog's Arms provider. Kantaris was presumed dead at the end of the game, though survival is possible.

Derrick Lynch

Derrick Lynch is the main villan of Crisis Zone. Lynch is the leader of a terrorist organization called U.R.D.A., which as responsible for attacking Garland Square. Lynch's story is that he is a former commander in the Irish Revolution Army after serving in the British Army. He has two bodyguards named Tiger and Eddy (which could be referencing characters from another Namco game Tekken). In the game, Lynch planned to unleash a nuclear reactor at a nuclear test site. In combat, he uses a strange-looking high-gauge semi-automatic shotgun plus "potato masher" grenades. S.T.F operators were able to shut down the machine, killing Lynch in the process. After Lynch's death, Jared Hunter becomes second-in-command.

Derrick Lynch was named after an employee of Namco who created the game Time Crisis itself.

Terror Bites

The Terror Bites are biological weapons researched, created, invented, and compiled by the Hamlin Battalion. Shortly after the Terror Bites were approved for use, the Hamlin Battalion turned against its country, utilizing these weapons as a part of their aim to destroy the United States. In the game, there are four types of Terror Bites: a beetle-like creature, a mosquito-like creature, an armadillo-like creature that explodes, and a mantis-like creature. The beetles and the mosquitos attack in swarms, attempting to latch onto their victims and kill them. The armadillos expands its abdomen and then explode. The mantis usually fights alone or in pairs, splitting into three separate weaker offsprings when one is killed. The Terror Bites seem to be controlled and directed by specific radio frequencies. All members of the Hamlin Battalion, as well as Wild Dog, wear devices that emit signals so that the Terror Bites do not attack them. Specific members of the Battalion use devices that actually control the actions of the Terror Bites.

Wild Dog

The only villan that has been featured in every single Time Crisis installment, save Crisis Zone.

Wild Fang

Wild Fang is Wild Dog's apprentice in training, whose first and only appearnce was in Time Crisis 3. He wears a red shirt with suspenders. He moves very fast and likes to kick heavy objects and throw kicks at the opponent. However, Alan Dunaway and Wesley Lambert manage to bring him down, where he simply falls and dies.

Giorgio Zott

Giorgio Zott is the leader of the Zagorias Federation Army, appearing as the main villain in Time Crisis 3.

In the story of Time Crisis 3, Zott sends out his army to invade Astigos Island. Despite protests from several nations and heavy resistance from the Lukano Liberation Army, the Zagorias Federation managed to seize 80% of Astigos Island thanks to Zott's strategy. First the Lukano Liberation Army discovers that Zott plans to launch four tactical missiles from Astigos to destroy Lukano. Then the VSSE states that the tactical missiles' potency can also be a threat to the surrounding nations as well. In combat, Zott uses a sword in one hand and an automatic gun at the other hand. In the game, Zott teamed up with Wild Dog. Alan and Wesley, in spite of a difficult fight, managed to kill Zott and destroy the tactical missiles before it left the silo, removing the threat to Lukano.
