KK Bandai Namco Holdings ( Japanese 株式会社 バ ン ダ イ ナ ム コ ホ ー ル デ ィ ン グ ス , Kabushiki kaisha Bandai Namuko Hōrudingusu , English NAMCO BANDAI Holdings Inc. ) is a Japanese company that was formed through the merger of the video game companies Namco and Bandai .

The company was known as Namco Bandai in English until April 1, 2014 .

The old brands will be continued in the business areas in which Namco and Bandai were not both active in the past. Bandai will remain the brand for toys and Namco the brand for arcade games . The video games division of the old company operated as Bandai Namco Games from January 2006 to March 2015. On April 1, 2015, the name was changed to Bandai Namco Entertainment.

In Japan, Bandai Namco employees receive a bonus of 2 million yen for their third child to help prevent aging and childlessness in Japan. With the “Kid's Room”, the company also offers free childcare for primary school students during the summer and winter holidays.
