Asclepias connivens is a species of milkweed commonly called the largeflower milkweed. It grows in seasonally wet savannah and coastal plains in the southeastern United States (Alabama, Georgia, Florida). The plant dies back to the ground in winter. [1] It was identified in 1817.[2] The plant produces 3/4 inch flowers and 5-7 inch seed bearing follicles from mature fruit.[3] The flowers are light green in color
