Specific infection associated with Kocuria are urinary tract infections, cholecystitis[6], catheter-associated bacteremia[7], dacryocystitis[8], canaliculitis, keratitis[9], native valve endocarditis[10], peritonitis[11], descending necrotizing mediastinitis[12], brain abscess[13] and meningitis. Kocuria rosea is known to cause infection in immunocompromised patients, causing oropharyngeal and deep cervical infections. However, as having low pathagenicity and being very susceptible to antibiotics, with immediate surgical drainage, debridement, and administration of broad range antibiotics showed great results.[14]
