Essex Spartans
The Essex Spartans are a British American Football team based in Billericay, Essex. The team play in Division 2 South of the British American Football League.
Origins
The club was formed in 1999 as result of a merger of the Essex Chiefs and Redbridge Fire teams. The club initially fielded their training sessions in Wanstead in the London Borough of Redbridge.
