Billericay is in Essex located town in the district of Basildon in England with around 33,000 inhabitants.

According to tradition, the Pilgrim Fathers met in Billericay before they crossed over to America on the Mayflower . In many areas of public life, this fact is honored by giving names. There is the Mayflower House, Mayflower Taxis and Mayflower Hall.

The city was immortalized in the song "Billericay Dickie" by the band Ian Dury and the Blockheads .
