Template:Infobox musical artist 2 Torrence Hatch (born November 14, 1983) is an American rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who raps under the name Lil Boosie.

Hatch joined a growing record label called Trill Entertainment which was backed by Pimp C of UGK. Pimp C signed Hatch and assisted him in bringing his legal issues to an end. Soon after, Hatch and Trill independently released the album For My Thugz under Trill, which sold over 15,000. Later in the summer of 2003, Hatch teamed with label mate Webster Gradney, known as Webbie, on the album Ghetto Stories, which also went on to sell well over 15,000 copies.[citation needed] In 2004, the duo released Gangsta Musik, which also sold well locally. Hatch's latest release was Bad Azz, released on October 23, 2006. It features songs such as "Dats What They Like", "Smokin On Purple", and "Zoom" which features Yung Joc. The album peaked at #5 on the Billboard Rap Albums Charts with 160,783 copies sold[1], making it his best selling album to date.
