Joaquim Gomes (born December 23, 1980 in Luanda, Angola) is an Angolan professional basketball player. He played in professionally in Germany before his current stint with Eiffel Towers Den Bosch in the Netherlands, making him the only Angolan player currently playing outside of Angola.

A 6'8" (203 cm) center-power forward, Gomes was a stand out at Valparaiso University, where he played collegiately from 2000 to 2004. He also played for his country's national team in the 2004 Summer Olympics and the 2006 FIBA World Championship.
