Bill Eckersley

William Eckersley (born on 16 July 1925 at Southport; died on 25 October 1982) was an English footballer. He played at left back.

During his career, he played for Blackburn Rovers F.C. between 1947 and 1961. He also earned 17 caps for the England national football team, and was part of England's 1950 FIFA World Cup team.
