Judith Chapman (born Judith Shepard on November 15, 1945, in Greenville, South Carolina, is an actress known to fans of 1980s US daytime television as Natalie Bannon Hughes #1 on the soap opera As the World Turns. She played the role from 1975 to 1978 and got a reputation on the show as "Nasty Natalie," due to her character's scheming temperament.

Beginning in January, 2005, Chapman joined the cast of The Young and the Restless replacing Joan Van Ark in the contract role of Gloria Fisher Abbott Bardwell.

A number of prominent actresses, such as Ilene Kristen and Donna Mills read for the role of Gloria, but after a single reading with actor Christian LeBlanc (who plays Gloria's son Michael), producers hired Chapman on the spot.

The daughter of a United States Air Force general, Chapman has had a long career in both movies and television, as well as her most recent stage work both as an actress and director of many well-received theatrical productions. Her most recent feature film role was that of the mother of Judy (Parker Posey) in the 2002 romantic comedy, The Sweetest Thing.

Chapman is also an avid yoga buff and instructor, theatrical director, stage actress and restaurateur. She is part-owner of "St. James at The Vineyard," an upscale and eclectic restaurant specializing in "New World Cuisine" in Palm Springs, California.

Judith received a "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the Desert Theatre League (DTL) on Sunday, November 20, 2005, at the DTL's 18th "Desert Stars Awards" Ceremony held at the Riviera Resort in Palm Springs, California.
