Donna Mills
Donna Mills (born December 11, 1940 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actress. She embodied her best-known role in the television series Under the California Sun as the scheming Abby Fairgate Ewing, for which she received the Soap Opera Digest Award three times as an outstanding villain .
She also received the Daytime Emmy Award in 2015 for her guest role as Madeline Reeves in General Hospital .
Mills was mostly seen on television since the late 1960s. She made her film debut in 1967 in the thriller Incident ... and they had no mercy next to Martin Sheen and Beau Bridges . Her few other well-known cinema roles include Sadistico (1971) alongside Clint Eastwood .
In 2015 she returned to the big screen in a supporting role: In the star-studded movie Joy - Everything Except Ordinary , she starred alongside Jennifer Lawrence , Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper, among others .
At the end of 2017 she was seen on stage in the play Miss Daisy and her chauffeur .
