Edit Summary Request

I have noted that you edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky or even vandalizing. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Smallville

Wikipedia is not a current events encyclopedia. The original cast get preference over any "new comers". Wiki articles should not fall prey to recentism.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 15:37, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

They probably shouldn't. It's giving preference to those characters that came in later, instead of to those characters who founded the ideals of the show. Also, as I'm sure you're the IP that made the edit, please stop removing characters. Every character listed was/is, at one point, a regular cast member. You seem to keep wanting to delete Jensen Ackles's character "Jason".  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 17:42, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

So, Pete left the show. It's noted in his character description that he left the show. Take a look at your edits, you removed--whether by accident or not--Jensen Ackles from the list completely. Regardless, just because they left the show it doesn't mean they aren't still the original cast. These other actors are coming in later. Wikipedia articles should reflect history, not current events. Historically, there were 8 main cast members, and there have been new ones that have come on and gone. Articles shouldn't cater to the fans, but to everyone. It's a clear title that says "original cast" and "additional cast" and reading the descriptions it's clear who left the show and who didn't. By making it "current cast", you are saying that the people that were there for 6 years are less important than the ones that have been there for a single season. As for the current season, they'll get 15 episodes (7 more) and that will be the end of this season, unless the strike ends soon. As for it being the last, the ratings have been good and steady all seasons, if it continues I don't see why there wouldn't be an eighth season.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 18:02, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Smallville (TV Series). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Project News A professional wrestling portal has been established, and WikiProject Professional wrestling is expected to maintain it. Please help in its construction and keeping it up to date in the long run. Mickie James has been elevated to Good article status. Don Kent (wrestler) failed its Good article nomination. AJPW Triple Crown Championship and Royal Rumble are currently Featured list candidates. Their respective nomination pages can be found here and here. Briscoe Brothers, King of the Ring (1994) and WrestleMania III are currently Good article candidates. No Way Out (2004), SummerSlam (2007), and In Your House 1 have each been listed for peer review. Please review these articles and make suggestions for their improvement. Their respective peer reviews can be found here, here, and here. Current Events On the December 17 edition of Raw, it was announced that former WWE superstar John "Bradshaw" Layfield has decided to return to the ring on the Raw brand. It is unknown if he will continue to color commentate on SmackDown!. Former WWE and TNA wrestler Andrew "Test" Martin has announced his plans to retire from professional wrestling. Collaboration of the Week The monthly featured article collaboration for December 23 - December 29 is John Cena. The focus on improving Stub-class articles is continuing to pay off, as the number of stubs has reduced from 732 to 717 over the past week. Superstar Drew McIntyre has been drafted to the Raw brand.
