Joe Mooney (politician)

Joseph Mary Mooney (died 21 January 1988), known as Joe Mooney, was a Fianna Fáil politician from County Leitrim in Ireland who served as a senator for 4 years.[1]

A member of Leitrim County Council from 1943 to 1988, he was elected in 1961 to the 10th Seanad Éireann, but did not context the 1965 election to the 11th Seanad.[1]

His son Paschal was a senator from 1987 to 2007.[2]
