Rigo Beltrán
Rigoberto Beltrán (born November 13, 1969 in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico) is a former Major League Baseball left-handed pitcher who is currently the pitching coach for the Single-A Dayton Dragons in the Cincinnati Reds organization. He attended high school in San Diego.[1] and is an alumnus of the University of Wyoming.
Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 26th round of the 1991 Major League Baseball Draft, Beltrán would make his Major League Baseball debut with the Cardinals on June 2, 1997. His final game came on April 28, 2004, as a member of the Montreal Expos.
From 2007 to 2008, Beltrán was the pitching coach for the Gulf Coast Reds; he received a promotion to pitching coach of the Single-A Dayton Dragons for the 2009 season.[1]
