New York Polyphony is a male a cappella quartet, based in New York City. The group has its roots in the tradition of English choral music and sings polyphonic works, and Gregorian chant. Its main performance genres are medieval music, and contemporary, including works written especially for the ensemble by British-born Norwegian composer, Andrew Smith.[1]

New York Polyphony has performed in the New York area, and in Europe at the Ardee Baroque Festival and Pipeworks Festival in Ireland.

The group comprises Geoffrey Williams counter-tenor, Geoffrey Silver tenor, Scott Dispensa baritone, and Craig Phillips bass.

The group's debut disc, I Sing the Birth, was released on Avie Records in 2007. Selected tracks have been included on the Classic FM Magazine cover disc in both 2007 and 2008. The four male voices were joined for several tracks by Elizabeth Baber, Ruth Cunningham and Emilie Williams.
