Siddharth (actor)
Siddharth also known as Siddharth Narayan is an Indian movie actor who has appeared in Tamil, Telugu and Bollywood films. He was born on 17 April, 1979.
He started in the business as an assistant director to Mani Ratnam, for the critically acclaimed Tamil film Kannathil Muthamittal. His rise to popularity started when he was tapped for a film role as "Munna" in the hit film Boys directed by S. Shankar. Next came a role in another Mani Ratnam film, the Tamil feature Aayitha Ezhuthu (Tamil version of Yuva). After appearing in Telegu movies, he was chosen to play "Karan" in the Bollywood film Rang De Basanti, released in January 2006.
Rang De Basanti has been a very successful movie and Siddharth has attracted a great deal of attention for his performance as Karan.
