Yuva ( Hindi , युवा, yuvā, lit .: youth ) is a 2004 Hindi film by Mani Ratnam .

action

The focus is on the story of three men whose fateful meeting on the Haora Bridge in Kolkata changed the lives of everyone. The three characters Lallan, Michael and Arjun are supposed to represent different facets of the youth of India.

Lallan, the brutal thug who abuses his wife Sashi, is later hired by right-wing politician Prosonjit Bhattacharya to put an end to the charismatic student leader Michael. For his part, Michael loves Radhika and moves from village to village to get the residents to take political action and to promote local self-government. After meeting on the bridge, the third character, Arjun, experiences a metamorphosis from naive woman hero to inspirational political newcomer, who gets involved in the love story with Mira, which has become almost irrelevant in this film.
