US 92 runs for 177 miles from SR 595 and SR 687 in downtown St. Petersburg to SR A1A on the Atlantic Ocean in Daytona Beach, via Tampa, Lakeland and Orlando. The entire road is in Florida. It is signed east-west.
US 92 uses the following unsigned state roads:
- SR 687 from downtown St. Petersburg to the west end of the Gandy Causeway, at SR 600, SR 686 and SR 694
