1991 FIFA World Youth Championship

The 1991 FIFA World Youth Championship took place in Portugal between June 14 and June 30 1991. The 1991 championship was the 8th contested. Korea competed as a united team of both Koreas.

Qualification

The following 16 teams qualified for the 1991 FIFA World Youth Championship. Host Portugal did not have to qualify for the tournament.

Tournament

The 16 teams were split into four groups of four teams. Four group winners, and four second place finishers qualify for the knockout round.
