Storm Hawks
The Storm Hawks are the main characters of the series. The Storm Hawks is also the name of a previous Sky Knight squadron which was taken down by the Dark Ace, the newer one having adopted the name (and their carrier) in their honor.

The Storm Hawks' carrier ship is the Condor. The Condor belonged to the original Storm Hawks, the current ones having found it long after it crashed and repaired it. As befitting a carrier, the Condor possesses a large hangar with a decent runway for vehicles to take off from. There are living quarters for seven or more people. The ship has two sixty-foot periscopes for outside observation, though the generous window design of the bridge is such that everything in front of the ship is perfectly visible.
<big>Case Closed on 08:09, 30 October 2007 (UTC)</big>

For propulsion, the Condor has two main engines built into the massive, pontoon-like structures that make up the main portion of the ship. A pair of secondary engines built onto the living area of the ship provide for maneuvering, and a rudder is attached to the stern to assist. During periods of inactivity, the ship can hover or land. Eight anchors built into both the forward pontoons and living section allow the ship to anchor itself to cliffs, though the engines still need to be running to avoid over-stressing the anchors.

For armament, the Condor possesses two energy cannons that can be controlled by the pilot. In addition, the ship has at least two more energy cannons that can be manually operated, mounted in retractable positions in the side, that must be prepped for service before use. The vessel also has shields (whether they were powered or ablative is unknown), though they are knocked out in the first episode (permanently, according to Stork).

Aerrow
Please do not edit this page directly unless you wish to become a participant in this case. (All participants are subject to Arbitration Committee decisions, and the ArbCom will consider each participant's role in the dispute.) Comments are very welcome on the Talk page, and will be read, in full. Evidence, no matter who can provide it, is very welcome at /Evidence. Evidence is more useful than comments.
Leader of the Storm Hawks, Aerrow (voiced by Samuel Vincent) is the last descendant of the original Storm Hawks. He is a talented boy and a skilled fighter, being the first person to defeat the Dark Ace and survive after defeating The Dark Ace in a Sky Duel. At only 14 years old, he is considered one of the most talented Sky Knights in Atmos. Genial and brave, but with an untameable daring streak, Aerrow is typical of a leader; wherever there is injustice, Aerrow is the first to suggest going on a potentially dangerous or deadly mission in order to fix the problem. His name is a portmanteau of the words aero and arrow, and is pronounced to rhyme with "sparrow".

In the series opening, Aerrow names himself as 'the last descendant of the original Storm Hawks', and the former leader is shown to bear a resemblance to him. Judging from the fact that the past Storm Hawks were defeated ten years earlier, when Aerrow was four years old. It is mostly likely that he is Aerrow's father, which may play a role in Aerrow's rivalry with the Dark Ace, the man responsible for his demise.
Arbitrators, the parties, and other editors may suggest proposed principles, findings, and remedies at /Workshop. That page may also be used for general comments on the evidence. Arbitrators will then vote on a final decision in the case at decision.

For combat, Aerrow uses a pair of twin lightning blades, each powered by a rare blue striker crystal. The two blades can be joined at the hilts to form a double-bladed sword. Aerrow's signature attack with his blades is his Lightning Claw maneuver, a technique that fires a pulse of lightning energy ahead of him, preceded by a pair of wings extending from the blades, which form into the pulse. Unlike most characters, who keep a parachute on-hand should their vehicles be destroyed or otherwise rendered inoperable, Aerrow has a retractable hang-glider, allowing him to continue fighting despite the loss of his vehicle or return to it if they are separated in combat. His daring and confidence in himself are regularly demonstrated, as in the pilot when he successfully performs an attack which takes out several Talons at once, even though he had never performed the attack before and claimed to have seen it on a cartoon. Aerrow seems to have a crush on his teammate Piper. Although she likes him back, work always gets in the way.
Once the case is closed, editors may add to the #Log of blocks and bans as needed, but closed cases should not be edited otherwise. Please raise any questions at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration#Requests for clarification.

Aerrow's vehicle of choice is his Air Skimmer III Ultra, a motorcycle equipped with a pair of retractable bi-wings. Unlike the regular model, Aerrow's Skimmer has a secondary cockpit built into the starboard engine for Radarr. Controls for the wings are also situated near Radarr. It comes with a crystal-powered afterburner for short bursts of speed, though use of the device comes with the risk of causing the vehicle to explode. Finally, Aerrow's Skimmer has more armor than the standard model, the weight of which is offset by a lighter frame, and removable shields in the upper wing-pair for an added defense. In contrast, however, the vehicle features no weaponry, since Aerrow prefers hand-to-hand combat. In fact, Aerrow's fighting style often has him jumping onto his opponent's vehicle.

Finn
I have informed all mentioned parties of the request
Finn (voiced by Matt Hill) is the 15-year-old wing-man and sharpshooter of the Storm Hawks, an egotistical, hyperactive, and self-centered kid. He's not the brightest bulb (the fact that he calls himself a Gomo instead of a Domo is an example). Despite Finn's faults, he often proves himself a capable warrior when the situation calls for it. In other respects, however, Finn is less than competent, namely where piloting and hand-to-hand combat are concerned. Impulsive and reckless, Finn is almost always the first one to get into trouble, usually dragging his friend Junko into it with him. Finn's catchphrase is "chica-cha", accompanied by him pointing both fingers like pistols, which he does whenever he accomplishes (or believes he's accomplished) something. Finn's passions are rock, air guitar, and flirting with girls. Apart from having a deadly shot, he is able to play guitar (not well), much to the displeasure of the rest of the crew, especially Piper and Stork.

In combat, Finn uses his energy crossbow to attack from long range. The weapon has been modified extensively, including a telescoping sight and an auto-reloader. The tip has a vaguely Wallop-shaped design on it, which Junko added. Finn's ammunition consists of crystal-tipped arrows. When defending the Condor, Finn operates one of the energy cannons, which he can aim with deadly accuracy.

For flight, Finn uses a standard Air Skimmer III. Unlike the Ultra, Finn's standard Skimmer sacrifices armor for speed and maneuverability. Finn has a retractable crossbow built into the bow of the vehicle, which operates in basically the same manner as his portable one. In addition to its speed, Finn's Skimmer has a pair of Nimbus 7 engines, which are designed to make as little noise as possible when holding off on the throttle. As a running gag, Finn's vehicle is almost always cut in half during combat. Furthermore, rather than use his parachute, Finn will proceed to land crotch-first on one of his friends' rides, along with a high-pitched greeting to said friend.

Junko
; Confirmation that other steps in dispute resolution have been tried
Junko (voiced by Colin Murdock) is the 16-year-old flight engineer and heavy ballistics expert (in short, mechanic) of the Storm Hawks. Junko is a Wallop, a species of stereotypically dimwitted yet amazingly strong creatures that resemble humanoid rhinos. Junko aspires to overcome this stereotype, and hence is smarter than is considered normal for his species. He's still not considered bright, however ("The beacon tower! It stopped, uh, beaconing!", being an example). He's also weaker than normal for his species (although, it may have been due to a lack of confidence on his part when he was a younger Wallop), though still much stronger than any human (10 humans to be exact), shown when he was able to easily overpower Snipe, who is himself far stronger than average. As a child, he was picked on for both these traits. Junko is also hyperopic (i.e. farsighted), and requires eyeglasses to read, as seen in episode 13: "Storm Warning".
SirFozzie offers unblock conditions

Junko quite literally collects random junk, keeping assorted spare parts in his closet. One of Junko's most noticeable traits is his cast-iron stomach which allows him to eat almost anything, including the lethal cuisine of the Colonel. Junko apparently has some allergy to Murk Raiders and Sky Sharks, which triggers when one of the two are in the area. His sneezes are powerful enough to send groups of attackers flying.
Statement by User:Vintagekits
Have I acted poorly in the past? - too right I have, very poor - the worst I have behaved was the night I came in pissed at 3am and had a pop at Rocketpocket and threw the toys out of the pram - most of the shocking diffs that is used as evidence against me comes from those couple of hours on that faithful night - it was in excusable and I never made any excuse for it and I took full responsibility for it, the only thing I could do was hide behind the fact that I was incredibly drunk which does mitigate it a little but doesnt excuse it - I accept that I have held me hands up - mia cupla, mia maxima cupla. I was allowed return and after the terms of my return were agreed I was happy to return and contribute to wiki and I had a different take on my editing - I was polite, helpful, tried to engage with and compromise with editors who I have butted heads with before and even created an article about a Baronet!!!!.

Junko fights with knuckle busters, steel knuckle covers powered by a level nine nimbus crystal. They light up with green energy when active and increase his strength to near-superhero levels, enough to lift a massive metal airship with ease or bend hull plating bare-handed. The busters are family heirlooms, given to him by his aunt to give him the confidence he needed to match the strength of the others of his species. As demonstrated by Finn, the busters are quite heavy and require Wallop strength to control them. When Finn tries to use them, his strength is enhanced to the point that even moving his hands generates more momentum than he can resist, causing him to flail about randomly in an attempt to stop himself. Aside from his busters, Junko occasionally wields a cruiser-grade energy cannon as a hand-held weapon and, like Finn, uses the Condors energy cannons during ship-to-ship combat.
All I wanted to do was get on with editing, and I was getting on fine with that. However, it all went to pot when I dared to cross BHG, the whole tedious and boring issue is outlined at length here. To my mind and that of others also I was acting well within wiki rules when I moved a number (about 10 I'd say) of article names due to over disambiguated - this issue is an old one and the Baronet project have a policy of over disambiguating the title of their articles in an attempt to include their titles along with their name - an admin confirmed the position on Kittybrewster page. Anyway BHG blocked me for three weeks for what amount to saying that articles on wiki should be correctly titled - obviously that is my take on it and others may take a different view. The block was wrong, BHG was in a content dispute with me and blocked me for following wiki policy so I emailed Alison asking if she was going to do something about it - I got no reply so I sent another email using some "industrial language" - I did not threaten her like some are making out I just point out that I was really pissed off at her lack of support for me when as "I saw it I was obviously in the right and BHG very wrong to block me when she was in a dispute with me" - I also within minutes sent her two more emails apologising for the language I used (the point behind the email still stood but I was sorry for the language I used).

For flight, Junko uses an Air Skimmer III EL. This model sacrifices speed and maneuverability for more combat-oriented items, namely missiles and armor. The vehicle comes equipped with eight crystal "little birdie" missiles and eight crystal "turkey burps" launched via catapult or trap door. Like Finn's Skimmer, it also sports Nimbus 7 engines for stealth.
So I got unblocked and then blocked the following days - the crux of the issue was a supposed threat to W.Frank which consisted of putting his street name in a post to him - I did that, I never claimed I didnt, it wasnt meant as a threat at all, and that is the honest truth, it was meant as a prank or a joke just to see what his reaction would be - it was a stupid thing to do and I realise that now and I've learned a lesson that some jokes are funny even it you think they are at the time and I think I will be leaving the jokes to comedians from now on. But after I got indefinately for that W.Frank stated that I sent him an email saying that I sent him an email saying that I threatened to burn his house down and attack his house, initially this is the reason that I thought I was blocked - lets get this clear - I never threatened him, I never said I would come to his house, I never said that I would burn his house down, I never said I would attack him, I never threatened him - either explicitly or implicitly, never and that is the truth. He said he had an email where I said all this but I have asked him to produce this or to forward it to a neutral admin but he never has done - I also forwarded to User:Alison all the email corrospondances that I knew existed between myself and W.Frank. If I have said anything like that then I will volunterily leave wiki for good and never return (no cheering please!) if he cannot provide this then I hope someone will seriously look into his actions in all this and the possible orchestration.

Piper
All I have ever wanted was to make wiki a better place and to improve the articles I am interested in and many of the articles I created are listed on my user page - thats pretty much it - all I hope is that out of this arbcom comes a framework where all editors can get on with editing instead of it begin a constant warzone.--Vintagekits 20:19, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Piper (voiced by Chiara Zanni) is the 14-year-old navigation and tactics specialist of the Storm Hawks. She's also a crystal specialist, capable of refining raw crystals into usable ones, an art considered difficult at best. Piper often devises elaborate plans for the team to follow, though more often than not they only manage to complete part of the plan before simply improvising, annoying her. Being the only female member of the Storm Hawks, Piper is usually embarrassed by her teammates in any situation requiring grace or tact, something none of them seem to possess in significant quantities; Junko and Finn in particular are worse in such situations, while Aerrow simply does nothing to curb Radarr's manic behavior. Stork, on the other hand, attempts civility, but never quite meets Piper's standards. She is very opinionated, often to the disadvantage of her teammates, and will speak her mind. Aerrow is her favourite Sky Knight, followed by Starling (as mentioned in the pilot).

Despite her more intelligence-oriented station, Piper is a capable fighter (with her crystal powered staff). She is a master of a unique style of martial arts called "Sky Fu" (the Storm Hawks equivalent to Kung Fu) and her knowledge of crystals make her attacks in battle unpredictable, since during any given battle her crystal-powered staff could potentially have a different effect. She was able to maintain a steady battle against Master Cyclonis by herself, eventually forcing Cyclonis to retreat by breaking the crystal on her staff. She also fought Cyclonis in "The Masked Masher", successfully fending off her attack and remarking that Cyclonis "fights like a girl".
Statement by User:SqueakBox
I am not directly involved in the dispute but as nobody has so far brought this case to arbcom I am going to be bold. VK was recently indefinitely blocked in a case that has brought up many strong feelings from editors who believe this block is both wrong and partial given that this case involves various parties editing two subject areas, Irish republicanism and the British nobility. There have been many arguments and blocks and nastiness on both sides and IMO the arbcom needs to pass judgement on the case and take whatever remedies it feels necessary, SqueakBox 21:44, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Unlike her friends, who all pilot plane-like vehicles, Piper pilots a Heliscooter, a combination helicopter/scooter built for fuel economy. The main rotor extends from a compartment behind the seat, while the rear wheel provides the tail rotor. Unlike the Skimmers, Piper's Heliscooter only has one booster, making it slower. In addition, it is much smaller and so has almost no armor protecting it. It is, however, much more maneuverable than a Skimmer.

Radarr
Before I begin, I would like to draw attention to the sterling work carried out by the Editors, Admins, and the Arbitrators of Wikipedia. It has been a pleasure to work with the many who have given their time, dedication and knowledge to this great world endeavour, and I am certain that all good people here will bid them success. Duty has now called on the Arbitration Committee to decide on matters of such crucial importance, so important indeed that the solution could fundamentally change some of the workings of Wikipedia into the future. Again we sit here at this moment in time, and ask the Arbitrators to perform that task, on our behalf.
Radarr is Aerrow's pet of indeterminate origin. He is around 7 or 8 years of age, and has been with Aerrow since he was very young. Radarr is intelligent enough to understand others and dislikes the "pet" classification. He is also very perceptive, often picking up on those with bad intentions before anyone else. When introducing the squadron, Aerrow notes that Radarr enjoys being called "mission specialist".

Radarr is usually seen sitting on Aerrow's shoulder or piloting Aerrow's Skimmer during missions, since Aerrow himself rarely stays in the vehicle's seat during combat. During those times Aerrow is actually piloting the vehicle, Radarr will often help by throwing wrenches and other objects at nearby enemies to disable them. Inexplicably, the engine where Radarr's seat is installed has an invisible compartment, from which Radarr can pull all manner of objects; a running gag with this is a female chicken attracted to Radarr that first appears in "Gale Force Winds". Radarr is also a capable mechanic where the Skimmer is concerned, able to make basic repairs to it in-flight. During the episode "Escape", Radarr reassembles an old wrecked Skimmer and gets it working, though it eventually falls apart from wear and tear.
Vintagekits (Vk), a bright, intelligent editor with over 12,000 edits to his credit was last month, thrown a “<u>buoy made of lead</u>” , and was told to swim, i.e. the “SirFozzie parameters”,. He had on many occasion been the recipient of the infamous ”<u>argumentum ad hominem</u>” tactic, that regressive style of personal attack that causes so much anger, and anguish on Wikipedia. No doubt, Vk became quite discomposed on at least one occasion as a consequence of these ongoing attacks, however I must also give him empyreal recognition and credit for the many many times he showed exemplary calm, dignity and restraint under the barrage of extreme provocation. Though the arguement of ”<u>post hoc ergo propter hoc</u>” <small>(it happened after, so it was caused by)</small>, can quite correctly be reasoned for here, nevertheless it cannot be positively sustained as part of an overall solution in this particular instance, yet it can quite naturally assist for mitigation purposes. As has been noted, Vk had been goaded as a direct consequence of the stringent conditions recently imposed by the “SirFozzie parameters”. The relevant articles are usually Northern Ireland related, and doubtless, the long struggle there for civil rights and the resultant armed conflict is well known to many of us here at Wikipedia. This conflict goes way back to the Plantation of Ulster in the seventeenth century. With a political agreement now in place, and not everyone contented, there is the distinct possibility that some political agendas within Northern Ireland are entering a new phase here in cyberspace, via www.en.wikipedia.org. Consequently, differences of opinion have played a factor in the manner in which some of these articles are presented. There are a couple of handfuls of editors involved, chiefly from United Kingdom and to a much lesser extent from Ireland, who have clashed on occasion. But really this is very far from an edit-war, and relationships are overwhelmingly cordial most of the time. Nevertheless, with the “SirFozzie parameters” applied, Vk found himself with a Sword of Damocles dangling over his head, and this “sword” could only terminate with an inevitable fall, and accordingly it did. Can we afford to lose VK? In my opinion no. With over 12,000 edits, and rarely in big trouble, I argue for Vk to stay.

Radarr is similar to Daxter from the Jak and Daxter series.
There is a solution in my mind, and may I offer it here. This would involve the nomination of a panel of ”<u>3 wise Admins</u>” to look after unforeseen events. I propose the nomination of the now familiar admins, SirFozzie and Alison, and one other admin, (but not Rockpocket as he is seeking a permanent block). Vk would be allowed his opinion on the establishment of the three, but not have the final say. Then in the event of a major transgression, and with the approval of at least 2 of the ”3 wise Admins”, Vk could be the subject of a punitive block for some hours, or at max a week. Any longer than a week’s block, an outside admin would be required to deliberate on the matter at hand. Ideally, these penalties would never need to be invoked. These measures would hopefully assist with the “conflict resolution”, and create a desirable outcome leading to the following. (1) Would remove the psychological pressure, and the feeling of victimhood away from Vk, thereby acting as a cushion, and leading to calmer editing. (2) Would also lead to greater respect, and caring among the Wikipedian community. (3) Would build confidence between the involved British and Irish editors. (4) Would send out the message that "mob rule" does not work on Wikipedia. (5) Would ensure a fairer system of jurisprudence, and not a continual “block threat” – This whole issue is so vitally important, because if Wikipedia loses editors like Vk, there will be another culprit, and another culprit, year after year, after year, thereby irreparably damaging the Wikipedia project. Can Wikipedia continually sustain this? I believe that it cannot.

Stork
By way of illustration, this running saga reminds me of Victor Hugo’s great novel, ”<u>Les Misérables </u>”. An editor makes a faux pas, and is never to be left at peace, now pursued by Javert type characters, forever watching his every move, and ready to pounce for the least of infringements. Even Jean Valjean, Hugo’s hero, would have resigned to despair with the chivvy that Vk had to endure, I suspect.
Stork (voiced by Scott McNeil) is the carrier pilot of the Storm Hawks, and as such does not actively fly with the rest of the squadron, nor does he wish to for that matter. He states in the pilot that his tenure with the Storm Hawks will only last "until something better comes along". Stork is a 17-year-old Merb, a species of green-skinned, cold-blooded humanoids that inhabit Terra Merb, an environment where natural disasters are constantly occurring, possibly accounting for Stork's personality. He is said to have the biggest fanbase of the show.

Apparently a product of his home, Stork is paranoid of everyone and everything that could potentially harm him and the squadron. As such, Stork expects doom from every encounter to the point that, in his first battle, he begins filling out his own will, only to discard it upon realizing that all his possessions are on board the ship and thus would be destroyed along with him (he does write a will and gives it to Finn beforing having a meal prepared by Junko in "Storm Warning"). Stork's paranoia results in extreme pessimism, as he often disregards any possibility of survival or finds the most depressing way in which to express the odds of surviving an encounter. He's also a hypochondriac, often complaining of an apparently growing yet never visible rash or some other ailment.
To conclude, my suggestions could go some way to help repair this contravention. Following the passing of some time, things will settle down and all will be forgotten about. New editors will come on stream, and some will be looking for guidance, and who better to help them, but the old hands? I believe that this is the time to grasp the opportunities, not to forestall, and not leave them to wither unsung. .- User:Gold_heart17:39, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Stork's paranoia does have benefits, however, since he's a brilliant inventor. His devices, though never used as intended, are often incredibly useful or life-saving. For example, he invented a pair of x-ray binoculars, which he had designed to search for "mind worms". Stork also displays extreme ingenuity and resourcefulness during "The Code", in which he builds a versatile motorcycle from a pile of scrap within moments. He also has numerous traps set up about the ship, which the others criticize; they inevitably turn out useful, further validating Stork's paranoia. In addition, he appears to possess above-human strength, as he’s able to hold off Snipe's attacks with his bare hands for a few moments in the Forbidden City (though he ultimately defeats Snipe by using the ejector seat on his vehicle).
:*Extra Comment. Some weeks ago I retired from Wikipedia, and scrambled my password. I believe that this issue is important, and thus my reason for this one final interjection. I feel that rudeness is quite prevalent, and there are many many editors who sometimes and unnecessarily resort to thus, including some of the Admins. In most cases it can add to the cut and thrust of discourse, and is quite easily forgiven, and at other times it can get out of hand. And that applies to many of us.- User:Gold_heart17:39, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Stork is a gifted pilot, capable of pulling off precision maneuvers with the Condor. For example, in the pilot episode he is able to successfully fly the Condor through the Wastelands, a stunt considered crazy to do for single pilots, much less an entire carrier. Stork apparently feels much more at home in the ship than anywhere else to the point that he dislikes leaving it if at all possible. It's also where he retreats to at the first opportunity. He's much more confident while on the ship, enough so to single-handedly fight the Raptors when they board it using the onboard traps. When the Condor is swallowed whole by a terra-sized creature in the episode "Leviathan", Stork suffers from a condition known as Sky Shock, going through a number of strange phases before taking on the sterotypical behavior of a pirate and crazy captain with references to Moby-Dick. He fights to free the ship, only to suffer the final phase of memory loss after doing so.
Statement by User:Rockpocket
Stork also invented his own personalized ride, the Stork-Mobile (or Stork's Safety Buggy), for the Storm Hawks' excursion into the Forbidden City. Given the only perfect safety rating in the series, the Stork-Mobile features a number of safety devices of Stork's own design; these include a booby-trap detector, indestructible tires, a roll bar, parachutes, anti-lock brakes, 52 independent external airbags, and an ejector seat (Stork insists "you always need an ejector seat" which, like all his inventions, turns out to be useful). Despite its ponderous appearance, the Stork-Mobile can fly: the front wheels form two secondary rotors, the main rotor emerges from a compartment behind the seat, and the two rear wheels form the tail rotor.
As far as I recall my first major involvement in an administrative capacity was when another editor approached me for assistance with some convincing evidence that Vintagekuts was recruiting meatpuppets off-wiki. The clearly stated purpose of this was to votestack on Afds. This editor expressed to me that he would rather remain anonymous for fear of threats of retribution from Vk (with time this precaution came sharply unto focus). I offered to present the evidence on his behalf. The evidence can be viewed at Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Vintagekits and Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Vintagekits. The latter report was closed by Will Beback with the conclusion "it is clear to me that these accounts are either sock puppets of VK or are meat puppets controlled by him. I will block these accounts indefinitely. VK has been blocked seven times since January, and also has a proven history of using sockpuppet accounts." An ANI discussion on what action to take (Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive262#Vintagekits, redux) generated consensus on a one week block followed by civility parole by SirFozzie. This had limited success; SirFozzie blocked Vk for further "WP:CIVIL violations" within a month and I issued several warnings, including one for a typical attack (Note: Vk appears to think that the swapping of, or addition of letters disguises his regular use of the word "cunt" in reference to other editors .) Just over a month after being placed on civility parole I blocked Vk for 31 hours for a number of attacks, culminating in this edit (which is typical of his combative attitude towards Wikipedia). This resulted in further attacks, threats, paramilitary rhetoric and so, on. So I indef blocked and immediately asked for an independent review at AN (see Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Archive97#Block Review - Vintagekits). The consensus, including Vk's mentors, was to maintain the indef block. In the meantime, the abuse continued by email, along the same lines, but with the added threat of personal violence against me and some hints that he indended to get revenge off wiki.I can forward them to ArbCom on request.

His favorite food is merb cabbage. In case of disaster, Stork has stockpiled reserves of cabbage on the Condor, and it turned out to be useful in the episode "Siren's Song". However, the cabbage's practicality as an emergency ration is limited as other non-merb characters have a strong aversion to eating it. However, he has an allergy to chocolate that apparently causes him to break out with a rash if he is even exposed to it.
After an apology from Vk (the tirade was alcohol induced, apparently) and a campaign by a number of supporters to unblock him, Vk was unblocked by myself on his explicit agreement to a self imposed ban on certain articles, to avoid conflict and uphold the "utmost level of civility" meaning he was "going to have to be on your best behavior no matter what" . Although Vk's ban was in the area of Irish Republicanism, it was made clear to him that the point was to avoid conflict, and wiki-lawyering around this would not be acceptable. Indeed, in this spirit he agreed to consult an admin before editing "articles tangential the subject-specific ban (like contentious British issues such as the Falkland and Gibralter)." Despite this, and fully aware that the prior conflict on Republicanism articles had spilled over onto articles about baronetcies, Vk waited less than 24hrs before editing an article on Sir George Dick-Lauder, 12th Baronet Inevitably, Vk found himself in conflict on this subject before long, leading to a block by BrownHairedGirl. In the immediate aftermath of this, it was reported that Vk sent abusive emails to both his mentor Alison for not supporting him, apparently, and to BrownHairedGirl. This was just eight days after Vk had been unblocked, having been indef blocked for the exact same behaviour. At this point Alison then indef block Vk again for "making clear threats regarding another editor's home address" , but for obvious reasons did not elaborate. I reviewed Vk's recent edits, identified two edits that appeared suspect and contacted Alison privately to confirm those were the reason for the indef block. She confirmed to me they were. With this information to hand, and considering Vk was already on parole from an indef block, had sent abusive emails yet again and has a long history of seriously disruptive editing, incivility, sock- and meat puppetry, I believe Vk's negative impact on the project grossly out-weighs any benefit he may offer. I propose he remain blocked indefinitely and placed among the Wikipedia:List of banned users. I am aware of a history of disruptive editing from a number of other editors named in this request, and support an ArbCom inquiry into those editors also. I do not believe I, personally, have used sysop tools in anything other than a neutral manner, in an effort to protect the project from disruptive editing. ==Other Sky Knight squadrons==
Statement by User:Kittybrewster
Absolute Zeroes
I am one of many Users who has interacted at some stage with User:Vintagekits. I have found him to have been persistently provocative in attacking articles created or edited by me and others, some of which were articles about baronets. It seems he is deeply opposed to anything connected to the British establishment, titled people, etc. He has threatened to and has tagged numerous articles nn or fact or afd. Other users have waded in to back him up in this, including numerous editors some of whom are members of the Irish Republican project (notably User:One Night In Hackney, User:Domer48, User:Derry Boi) and editors who are not (e.g. User:Padraig, User:Giano II and User:SqueakBox) Other SPAs and possible meat/sock puppets have emerged from time to time, some of whom (eg User:Thepiper User:Stramash) are still around. Some of those were invited by Vintagekits specifically to assist in vote-stacking at afds. At no stage has VK accepted any responsibility for his own actions and for drumming up support off-wiki.
The Absolute Zeroes are a Sky Knight squadron from Terra Blizzaris. Their team consists of humanoid rabbit/coyotes called Blizzarians, all of whom speak with stereotypical Canadian accents; they use the word "Eh" at the end of most of their sentences. Their leader is Suzi-Lu (voiced by Nicole Oliver). The males of the squadron have a penchant for risky or just plain foolish stunts, acting like extreme sports enthusiasts, something Suzi entertains simply because it makes for good training. They also enjoy pie-eating contests, though they like to eat their pies frozen. As the name of their terra suggests, they use a blizzard crystal to cover the terrain in snow. Reflecting their appearance, the Blizzarians use alarms tuned to frequencies beyond the range of human hearing.

The Absolute Zeroes appear in the pilot episode, where they and every other Sky Knight squadron are taken out by the Dark Ace, and in "Velocity", where Suzi's souped-up vehicle malfunctions and takes off unassisted by wings before the race even begins. They are the main focus of "Fire and Ice", which highlights their somewhat inattentive method of colonization: when creating a new home for themselves, they fail to realize that little limbless creatures referred to as "leapers" live there. Suzi admits the extent of their check was basically yelling to see if anyone called back. In other words, "We hollered REAL loud!" A few members make a cameo appearance at the Sky Shanty in "The Leviathan". They also appear in episode 28, 'Atmos' Most Wanted.'
Wikipedia is not a battleground. Nor is it a soapbox.

The Absolute Zeroes pilot Ice Grinders, snowmobiles that transform into split-winged fighters. The vehicles are designed for cold temperatures, and thus operate poorly in high heat. On the plus side, they are very reliable, requiring very little maintenance and enduring what the Zeroes put them through without failing. In battle, the Zeroes wield crystal-enhanced axes.
After this had been going on for several months a few administrators were drawn in, all of whom are listed above (I think). They have done a superb job in trying to stop this dissolving into total chaos but they have been accused by VK and others of having been partisan. I don’t believe those accusations.

Buff Buzzards
My analysis is that VK is a very angry person who should have been restricted to writing articles about boxers – where I am told he contributed constructively and uncontroversially (I have no view on that). He was allowed past his first indefinite block on condition that he behave impeccably in future. He has failed to do this and administrators blocked him indefinitely as a result. Other editors (User:Giano II and User:Squeakbox) claim VK may have been provoked or goaded into resuming his poor behaviour. They claim they want to achieve a full inquest to ensure things have been fair. From what I have seen the admins concerned have been fair and patient to a degree.
A Sky Knight Squadron mentioned by Ayrgyn as one of those defeated by the Cyclonians, they seem to be Nordic in appearance. They first appeared in "Velocity" when their leader traded items with Finn and raced in the competition.
*The more I think about this, the more I think the answer is 42 – but what is the question? This link seems relevant: Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/Lapsed_Pacifist#User:Lapsed_Pacifist. Broadly I think there are seeral questions
1. Is VK’s block appropriate? Indeed, having submitted no statement, is he complaining at all?
2. Was he provoked into his behaviour? Is that relevant?
3. Are SqueakBox, Giano_II and Vk himself seeking to become famous for a moment by expanding this mess (under the guise of fairness for all)?
4. If so is an expanded enquiry appropriate?
5. If so on what topic?

Neck Deeps
Statement by User:SirFozzie
The Neck Deeps are a Sky Knight Squadron from Terra Aquanos. They are led by Tritonn (voiced by Scott McNeil), a half-man/half fish native Aquanosian, whom is referred to by other Sky Knights as a legend. However, Tritonn (and possibly the rest of his squadron) has fallen on hard times after a failed attempt to rid the skies of a monster called the Leviathan; not only were thirty men lost in the attempt, but the beast swallowed Tritonn's only brother, Horrace. Following the battle, Tritonn apparently lost his courage and began spending his time drinking at the bar of the Sky Side Shanty. However, after the Storm Hawks demonstrate their determination to rescue Radarr and the Condor from the Leviathan, Tritonn decided to lend them his old ship, the Skyquod, and later led a number of the local sky-fishers to assist in the mission. As a result of their efforts, a method was devised to keep the Leviathan at bay, and Horrace and other survivors were rescued from the beast's mouth (having survived by eating schools of "cloud krill" swallowed by the monster).
I am not really much surprised that this case has made its way to ArbCom. I have recently returned from an attempted vacation (and still on a semi-sabbatical from WP due to health issues). My two cents.. as I said on the Great Irish Famine ArbCom.. this is one of the biggest long-term edit warring groups I have ever seen on Wikipedia, both in terms of numbers and in terms of people. We have the whole smorgasboard of ill done deeds.. threats, edit wars, sockpuppets, POV Pushing.. you name it.. it's happened in this group. I strongly urge the ArbCom to take the issue, and take whatever means necessary to end this war, once and for all, even if it means blocking everybody (and I do mean EVERYBODY.) Half-measures will mean that we have to do this again, eventually. SirFozzie 21:52, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Rebel Ducks
Additional Statement by User:SirFozzie
The Rebel Ducks are the Sky Knight squadron of Terra Gale. They are defeated and imprisoned during a Cyclonian invasion, leaving the Terra defenseless. Terra Gale's people are subsequently enslaved and the Terra itself turned into a factory field, the smelters and other such machinery covering the normally clear sky in pollutants. Wren, one of Terra Gale's few un-enslaved residents, is a former Sky Knight, and the Resistance Leader; while attempting to rescue his granddaughter Dove, the Storm Hawks are roped into freeing the Rebel Ducks too, allowing them to mount a counter-attack against the Cyclonians. Their most prized possession is the "Cheese Stone", a crystal which can turn objects into cheese. The residents of Terra Gale, including their Sky Knight squadron, speak with French accents.
What you are seeing with the sniping and issues between the groups is generally what goes through the whole set of articles. Members of both sides have dug in, and the resulting edit wars have forced several people to retire (like User:Gold_Heart, and others (like Vintagekits) who've basically blown themselves up when it comes to WP editing. We see statements, like the one below from User:David Lauder (since removed) where it's assumed that if a user is Irish, then he or she automatically supports Vintagekits, or if they support Vintagekits, they're Irish automatically. This is why I urge ArbCom, even if they determine there's no action that needs to be taken on Vintagekits (confirming his indefblock/ban), to accept this case for user conduct issues across the whole chain of editors. ===Red Eagles===
::BTW, i confirm that the IP address is User:Gold_Heart) SirFozzie 23:55, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
The Red Eagles are the defenders of Terra Atmosia, home of the Sky Knight council and the Aurora Stone. Whether they originate from Terra Atmosia or not is unclear. They are widely considered to be the best Sky Knight squadron in the entire Atmos, and as such have legions of admiring fans. They are led by Carver (voiced by Brian Drummond), who turns traitor in favor of Master Cyclonis and attempts to steal the Aurora Stone. He freezes his entire team during the attempt, and they remain absent for the following attack by the Cyclonian Talons. Though successful in removing the stone, he is quickly defeated by Aerrow and arrested.

Like the Storm Hawks, the Red Eagles pilot model III Air Skimmers. Carver uses a single energy blade as his main weapon, but the others don't reveal any specific armaments.
:::Since User:Conypiece and Padraig just got 48 hour blocks from User:Alison on an edit war (and constant sniping at each other) on these articles, I have added Conypiece as an involved party, and am letting him know now. SirFozzie 00:20, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Rex Guardians
Statement by User:Alison
The Rex Guardians are a Sky Knight squadron from Terra Rex. According to Piper, the first Sky Knight was a Rex Guardian. The Rex Guardians all speak in a stereotypical English accent. They appear in the pilot at the spearhead of the massive, but unsuccessful, Sky Knight attack on Cyclonia. They make another appearance in "The Code", where their leader, Harrier (voiced by Scott McNeil), takes a phoenix crystal which Aerrow and Piper had worked hard to retrieve. Harrier initially looks down on the Storm Hawks, disregarding them as children and refusing to return the crystal, so Aerrow challenges him to a duel between their squadrons. The Guardians, being sticklers to their personal Sky Knight Code, cheat the Storm Hawks out of victory through various technicalities, though the Storm Hawks come out on top in every event.

After winning, Harrier hands the phoenix crystal over to the Dark Ace in an attempt to placate Cyclonia. Obviously unfamiliar with the dishonorable tactics of villains, he is surprised when the Dark Ace attacks anyway. Still convinced that his squadron is superior, Harrier insists that they'll fight the Dark Ace on their own, in order to show the Storm Hawks how real Sky Knights do battle. Finn happily predicts that they'll be "smacked down so hard," which the Dark Ace proves correct by quickly taking down the entire squadron with relative ease. The Storm Hawks subsequently repel the Dark Ace on their behalf. Faced with the ineffectiveness of their current ways, Harrier agrees to take some pointers from the Storm Hawks.
Evidence in camera
Reflecting their initial attitudes, the Rex Guardians dress in meticulously maintained dueling armor and fly classic Air Skimmers, split-winged fighters with manually activated wings (newer models have automatic deployment). These have comparatively slow speed, and poor maneuverability at high speeds. Their engines are a combination of prop-driven and thruster type. They are quite rugged, however, and can take more damage than most vehicles. Their fighting and piloting styles reflect that of medieval jousting and dueling, which emphasizes honor, chivalry and the Sky Knight Code: as the Dark Ace demonstrates, this style of fighting fares poorly against those who don't play by the same rules. The Guardians are armed with energy swords and lances, powered by yellow striker crystals; though equally antiquated, these weapons are still quite effective.
I'm in the process of writing this up. In the meantime, to answer Paul August; all my evidence has been forwarded to Fred Bauder, as that is the extent of my permission here. As Fred is on the ArbCom, can you please check in with him regarding what I've sent? =====Overview=====
Screaming Queens
An all-female Squadron defeated by the Cyclonians, as mentioned by Ayrgyn. They first appeared in the pilot episode when they attacked along with the other sky knights against Cyclonia in vain. They also appeared in "Velocity" as competitors for the race.

Starling
This entire problem has been ongoing for almost a year now and it's only my indefinite block of Vintagekits which has brought the whole matter into focus. While my primary concern is the circumstances behind VK's block, I believe there is a much more basic issue which demands attention here. It's not all about VK.
Starling (voiced by Nicole Oliver) is a Sky Knight in her early twenties, who speaks with a British accent and who formerly belonged to the Interceptors. Starling has purple spiked hair and green eyes. Her squadron was brought down by the Raptors, with Starling being the only survivor. She insists that she has no need for friends, but only says this to avoid the pain of losing them again, and for this reason turns down Aerrow's offers to let her join the Storm Hawks. Starling prefers cunning to actual fighting, having infiltrated Cyclonia in the pilot episode disguised as a Talon and using distractions to accomplish her goal in "Absolute Power". She is no slouch in combat, though, defeating Repton in single combat and holding her own against Master Cyclonis and Ravess.

Starling uses crystal-enhanced numchucks in battle. The numchucks can fire bolts of purple energy from the hanzo crystals embedded in the handles. Starling pilots a Skimmer-like vehicle known as a Slip-Wing Fighter Ultra, affectionately dubbed the Red Streak by Starling. It is a stripped down model designed to be as fast as possible without compromising performance, making it the fastest vehicle of its type.
I usually make a point of steering clear of Irish-related political articles as, due to my nationality (I'm Irish), I'll always be subject to accusations of bias. I have little interest in political matters and many of the involved editors here will know that I've turned down requests on both sides for that reason.

Third Degree Burners
Vintagekits blocked indef and unblocked per agreement
The Third Degree Burners are the burly Sky Knight squadron of Terra Saharr. Large by most standards, they love both a good fight and a good bet, something Finn comes to regret. They speak with Australian accents. The Sky Knight of the Third Degree Burners is Blister (voiced by Scott McNeil), a somewhat lanky yet still muscular man with a high-pitched voice. Their heavy ballistics expert is Burner (voiced by Colin Murdock), a much larger man whom Finn loses several bets to.

The Third Degree Burners pilot modified Air Skimmers resembling reversed trikes. The vehicles come with much more armor than a standard Skimmer and three extra thrusters to compensate for the strong winds in Saharr. The extra thrusters give the Burner Skimmers top speeds rivaling (or exceeding) that of any other Skimmer, even in their home turf, which comes in handy during the Great Atmos Race. Burner Skimmers transform into transverse helicopters to fly.
Regarding my indefinite block of VK, I had some experience of VK's actions prior to all this as he'd come to my attention as a result of the actions of User:Gaimhreadhan some months back. I found him to be a likeable guy, knowledgeable but given to losing his temper somewhat, as well as having his own POV issues. Either way, he ended up indefinitely blocked by User:Rockpocket last July 25th. Myself and other admins succeeded in brokering a deal which would allow VK to edit again, but only under certain clear-cut parameters (the so-called "Sir Fozzie Agreement"). As part of this unblock agreement, I volunteered to mentor VK. Note that a number of editors back then questioned why the issue was not brought before ArbCom at that point.

The Third Degree Burners are also one of the few squadrons whose carrier ship has been shown. The vessel is nearly twice as large as the Storm Hawks' Condor, sporting two separate tiers, the lower of which seems to be the living quarters of the vessel. When landing, three legs keep the vessel from tipping over. The vessel has four engines to propel it.
From then on, I kept close watch on VK, his edits and his dealing with others. So far so good. He remained polite, kept away from most contentious articles - at least most political ones. However, he was still involved with the whole baronets business, as I was to find out later.

Other characters
Blocked again, then unblocked
Murk Raiders
The Murk Raiders are pirates that attack any ship foolish enough to wander into Terra Deep, though they sometimes wander out to search for valuable treasure across the Atmos. They have fierce reputation, noted by themselves and implied by the Storm Hawks. Led by Captain Scabulous (voiced by Mark Oliver), the Murk Raiders strip any and every useful item from the ships they capture, including their crews. Their ships, designed to operate in the high-pressure depths of their terra's environment, are nigh-unstoppable on their home turf. The Murk Raiders themselves are typical of pirates: several are missing limbs, including their captain, which have been replaced with mechanical prosthetics. The Murk Raider crew wield dual-edged energy cutlasses fueled by yarr crystals, ideal for tearing apart ships and their crews, if necessary. Captain Scabulous wields a pair of energy sabres powered by a deadly fathom crystal. While the lower-ranked crewman rely on numbers to overcome their foes, Captain Scabulous is able to fight on par with Aerrow.

For transport, the Murk Raiders use their massive carrier, the Blood Crow. The primary design aspects of the Blood Crow are its thin yet long design and the giant mouth attached to the bow, the latter of which literally bites onto potential raiding targets to allow for easy boarding. Using its sonic finder, the Blood Crow can track the smallest sound within the depths of Terra Deep, while simultaneously masking its own energy signature to prevent detection by ordinary methods. Equipped with many powerful energy cannons stretched across its length, the Blood Crow can freely blast through the craggy rocks that impede normal carriers or just as easily disable other carriers in one or two hits. Finally, when other ships seek refuge in the cloud-obscured depths, depth charges studded with explosive crystals can be dropped to discourage such behavior.
Due to his involvement in the baronetcy articles, VK got blocked again. This time it was for an apparent pagemove spree that happened over a short period of time. User:BrownHairedGirl blocked him for three weeks due, not only to as a result of his perceived disruptive actions, but also because he refused to state that he would desist on disrupting further. I initially endorsed BHG's block while stating that I was concerned about it but, as negotiations progressed, I eventually endorsed his unblocking. Again. As I do :)

In addition to the Blood Crow, there are at least two other carriers of similar but slightly larger design available to the Murk Raiders. These versions lack the bow mouth, which is replaced by a similar-looking mask. In overall size, they even dwarf the Cyclonian Destroyers.
Between these two points, I got a series of increasingly irate and robust emails from VK, which I only responded to after he apologised and I'd complained on his talk page. Emails are available to ArbCom if required. Fred Bauder already has these. When VK agreed to stop his disruptive behaviour, he was unblocked by BHG & I lifted the autoblock. The debate continued unabated on his talk page and I ended up reiterating my support for his unblocking. It was interesting to note both political camps polarising around the blocking and unblocking of VK; just about all the major players were involved at one point.

The Colonel
In parallel with all this, another editor contacted me regarding another issue. Himself and another editor had been accused of sock-puppetry, and had both been blocked as a result. They had ended up unblocked only after Fred Bauder had been contacted. As a result of all this, they were anxious to prove their identity to a neutral admin who had a RL identity. Either way, I ended up being faxed documents which included this person's full name and home address. I still have them here.
The Colonel (voiced by Mark Oliver) is a large, four-legged, spider-like gangster, infamous throughout the Atmos. He lives in a big mansion located on an isolated terra where he maintains a large collection of both valuable objects and exotic food. He is served by four bulky-looking human bodyguards. The Colonel appears very suave, yet is so intimidating that the Storm Hawks and the Raptors alike are afraid of him. To keep himself strong, the Colonel eats dishes that would usually kill most people, although he is matched, and eventually bested, by Junko in an eating contest. A favorite of his for dessert is frozen yogurt found in an icebar on the other side of the Atmos. Due to his Spanish accent, he pronounces it as "rozen yoga".

The Colonel makes his second appearance when he buys and remodels the Condor. The Storm Hawks then challenge the Colonel to a race, in the hopes that they will win back the Condor. The Colonel beats them easily, and claims the Storm Hawks' replacement ship as his prize. The Storm Hawks resort to hiding aboard the Condor but get caught, narrowly avoiding punishment by claiming they want to see his "historic" flight to break the air speed barrier. However, at such high speeds, the Condor begins to fall apart, forcing the Colonel to give it back to the Storm Hawks. In this episode, Stork is the only one brave enough to stand up to the Colonel, if only because the Condor is in danger.
Then blocked yet again
I.J. Domiwick
A few days later, I was to indefinitely block VK on a very serious issue. The editor above, who's personal info I have, contacted me by email. He was quite concerned as he felt Vintagekits had made very clear allusions to his home address in some throwaway comments. I checked the diffs and, sure enough, VK had done exactly that. The comments stuck out like a sore thumb due to their weirdness and their inappropriateness given that VK had made a blatant and amateurish attempt to wedge the editor's street address into the comment. Twice.
Of all the explorers in Atmos, none is considered more famous or legendary than I.J. Domiwick. With dozens of best-selling books to his name, I.J. Domiwick is known throughout the Atmos for his daring adventures and amazing discoveries in ancient ruins. He's been described as smart, brave, adventurous, scientific, handsome, charming, and successful... Oh and humble; don't forget humble. But of all his many many fans, no one loves him quite as much as he loves himself.

In "The Forbidden City", the Storm Hawks pay a visit to Domiwick's latest excavation on Terra Xoam, home to the mysterious Forbidden City and the legendary Oracle Crystal. However, they soon learned that Domiwick had betrayed Atmos by allowing his dig to be sponsored by the Cyclonians, with Snipe on hand to follow Domiwick's digging instructions. Eventually, Domiwick and the Cyclonians tunnel their way into the city, but as soon as they're inside, Snipe abandons Domiwick, intending to claim the crystal for Master Cyclonis. After making his way through the city's many death traps, Domiwick and Piper duel outside the crystal chamber. Robbed of his prize when Aerrow frees the spirit of the Oracle, Domiwick is last seen being denied a ride out of the collapsing temple on Snipe's Heli-Blade. He has yet to reappear in subsequent episodes.
On review of these comments, it is readily apparent that VK has made an unequivocal threat as to his knowledge of this editor's whereabouts. It's one of those "I know where you live" moments. Given that both of these editors are on opposite poles of a long-running battle over Irish Republican and specifically the Irish paramilitary organisation, the Provisional IRA, this had to be taken seriously. Some background; I'm an Irish editor. I grew up in the Republic of Ireland at the height of the IRA terrorist campaign. Seeing a message like that horrifies me as I can immediately see it's significance in context. When someone said, "We know where you live", the followup to that message usually involved petrol bombs through your window or a shotgun blast through your front door in the early hours of the morning.

The Producers
Vintagekits and the other editor are both only too aware as to this meaning. I'm not saying that VK would actually do a thing like this, but he knows that he conveyed that message, and conveyed it clearly. This does not imply membership of any illegal organisation, as User:Gold Heart has implied it meant on VK's talk page, but indicates strongly that VK knew that it would have an impact. In other words, it's classic intimidation.
The Producers, Staldorf (voiced by Colin Murdock) and Walder (voiced by Scott McNeil), are two humanoid (from the waist up) creatures always scouting for talent, by force if necessary. Their names and personalities are a play on the hecklers Statler and Waldorf from the The Muppet Show. Though humanoid at first glance, Staldorf and Walder are connected from the waist down to a giant green monster.

In "Terra Neon", the Producers kidnap the inhabitants of Terra Neon and force them all to audition. After 'auditioning' the Storm Hawks and everybody else on Terra Neon, only Stork was left standing; despite his stage fright, he somehow managed to impress them (unintentionally) with his "doom"-themed poetry. After chasing Stork into the Wastelands, trying to convince him to be the 'Next Big Thing', the Storm Hawks left the Producers to the native wildlife. The Producers were last seen on board Ravess's ship, both in agreement that she and her fellow violinists were boring.
As a result of these clear threats, I immediately indefinitely blocked VK's account.

Talon Cadets
Unfortunately, I am unable to reveal why I did this in detail as doing so would reveal private information regarding someone who already feels at risk. It's an awkward situation and as you can see from the talk page, it boiled over into this arbcom proposal, with both distinct groups of editors lining up on either side of Vintagekits. Indeed, it was particularly annoying to see certain editors (I'm thinking specifically of User:Kittybrewster here) openly crowing about the blocking of VK. Breaking out the champagne, as it was described on Kittybrewsters' talk page.
The Talon Cadets are a group of children from various terras that became students of the Talon Academy, deceived by Cyclonian propaganda that glamorized the life of a Talon.

In "Talon Academy", Piper captures a Talon whose parachute malfunctioned, and upon unmasking him, discovers that "him" is actually a "her", and that the Talon is no older than herself. After she is rescued by a comrade, the Storm hawks quickly learn of the Talon Academy. Deciding to investigate, Aerrow, Piper, and Radarr enroll in the Academy (in disguise), where they find themselves suffering the physical and verbal abuse of "Sergeant Snipe", as well as dealing with an egotistical Cadet nicknamed "Top Dog" (voiced by Matt Hill), who immediately shows his dislike for Aerrow (seeing as how Aerrow's skills makes him look bad in comparison).
My position is this; I blocked VK for threatening another editor. He's been blocked before and has an extensive history of being abusive and threatening physical violence both on-wiki and in email. His is being disruptive beyond belief and has been intimidating others for quite some time. Unfortunately, he also has quite a loud and vocal fan club.

Over time, Aerrow and Piper manage to convince the Cadets that being a Talon is no way to live, and Piper eventually reveals her identity to Lynn (voiced by Kathleen Barr), the Talon she had rescued earlier. Top Dog overhears this and outs them to Snipe, upon which Aerrow and Piper manage to turn the school against Snipe. Top Dog, however, radios for an elite Talon squadron before being captured. With danger at hand, Aerrow and Piper lead the Cadets in a counterattack, using the camp's kitchen supplies to stall and harass the Talons long enough for the Condor to arrive and fight the rest of them off. During the fight, Snipe and Top Dog escape to safety.
I spoke briefly on the phone with RockPocket, another involved admin, this week. He revealed that he'd found the diffs in VK's edits and I confirmed to him that this was where the issue lay. He endorsed my block, as did quite a number of others

In awe of their new heroes, the children reveal that they want to become Storm Hawks instead. Aerrow entertains the idea of having them as a reserve team.

Sky Sirens
<span style="color:#558; font-family: comic sans ms; font-variant: small-caps">A<font color= "#7070a0">l<font color= "#9090c0">is</font>o</font>n</span> ☺ 21:26, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
According to Piper, the Sky Sirens are beings who take on the appearance of a woman and have the ability to conjure illusions from a person's deepest desires. They exist to lure ships to their doom. The Sky Siren who appears in "Siren's Song" has blue skin, dark blue hair, blank eyes, fangs, and long, sharp fingers; she hovers in midair while an electric blue aura surrounds her.

In "Siren's Song", a Siren lures the Storm Hawks into the Great Expanse with illusions of their desires, then attempts to turn their desires into nightmares in an effort to destroy them. As she terrorizes them, she is slowly weakened by their continued resistance. Radarr successfully overcomes her, as his desire was to pilot the Condor, which the Siren was actively trying to prevent.

Ayrgyn the Skeelur
I found this problem when I was involved in the investigation into the validity of Kittybrewster's own family pages, many of which have been deleted. He has never forgiven me. As I have no great political interest in either Ireland or England I have been able to view this problem quite dispassionately. Similar problems are occurring on other Wikis. The problem is complex, two groups - one symbolised by Vintagekits and one by Kittybrewster are at war. Neither are the leader of their group but both are among the most vocal.
Ayrgyn (voiced by Scott McNeil) is a shape-shifter known for his amazing training tactics. He warns the Storm Hawks of the Cyclonian's new abilities and trains them in "The Lesson". Though the Storm Hawks miss the point of his lessons, their individual experiences allow them to overcome the otherwise unbeatable abilities the Talons had gained. He can change at will from a bird to a human, and has powers which, even with the crystal-enhanced technology common in the show, border on functional magic. Ayrgyn's voice and personality appear to be an homage to Paul Lynde, particularly the need to respond to a question with a joke.

Leviathan
Vintagekits is Irish and proud of it. Some in his group undoubtedly have republican sympathies. All quite legal and acceptable, if not greatly liked in the old British establishment. Today, Gerry Adams and Martin McGuiness men who Margaret Thatcher would probably have cheerfully shot are both now entertained at 10 Downing Street where their views are seriously debated. Times change and Wikipedia has to reflect that.
The Leviathan is a giant monster that disguises itself as a terra to lure in ships and its favorite food, cloud krill. The monster is greatly feared by Sky Side Shanty as it can swallow ships whole. Survivors of its attacks lived in its mouth and throat like parasites, eating cloud krill to stay alive. One of the survivors was Tritonn's brother, Horace. It was finally defeated by the combined efforts of the Storm Hawks and the Sky Knight squads that inhabit the Sky Side Shanty.

Gundstaff
Kittybrewster and his friends are British and proud of it. Some of his group undoubtedly have establishment sympathies. Indeed they have deliberately identified themselves with the old type establishment, and more importantly the Anglo-Irish aristocracy. The traditional "enemy" of the "downtrodden" Irish.
Gundstaff is a giant who first appeared in "Life With Leugey". He has a large collection of rare crystals which he houses in a vault. The Storm Hawks steal some crystals from him to make an anti-Gravitron crystal to separate Leugey and Stork. This upsets him and he attacks them with a giant crystal powered mace (much like the one belonging to Snipe). He lives on an isolated terra in an old house with a giant chicken.

Cyclonians
The problem is that they both want to edit each others pages, both scream POV - was a baronet, or a freedom fighter, murdered or was he killed can result in months of bitter acrimony. Was the "freedom fighter" a "terrorist" or a glorious hero and so it goes on. Anyone caught up in this is labelled a Republican by Kittybrewster's gang. They even made a template to put by "suspect editors" names. The name calling from both sides is appalling. Some admins have tried to put a stop to this, but as they were largely Irish themselves their neutrality was questioned. Ireland is a very divided country. Adding to the confusion both sides use multiple sockpuppets. Kittybrewster's group were found guilty of vote stacking etc. on one of their baronets deletion pages. I don't have the diffs but I fully expect the Irish group have been equally guilty.
The Cyclonians are the main villains of the series. Their main base is located on Cyclonia, though their empire has annexed several other terras for various reasons. The Cyclonian empire is ruled by Master Cyclonis, who seeks dominion over Atmos. Like most names on the show, the name is a pun on a type of weather, in this case a cyclone.

Dark Ace
Vintagekits is his own worst enemy, quick to anger, he engages his mouth before his brain. This has been seized upon and he has become the chief target for goading. Kittybrewster has indeed been blocked and warned repeatedly to stop goading him - However he and his friends do not. Kittybrewster and his friends advertise a lot of personal information on Wikipedia, real names, schools, backgrounds and locations. They seem more real than some other and more reticent Wikipedians, and it seems that in the heat of the moment blinded by rage Vintagekits lashed out and blurred reality with the anonymity of Wikipedia. In the course of this he made, I am told, some very serious threats indeed. (I have not seen them)
The Dark Ace, (voiced by Samuel Vincent) was formerly a member of the original Storm Hawks (serving as a co-pilot for the squadron's original leader), until he betrayed them. He is in his late 20's and is a feared pilot in Atmos, said to be undefeated and self-described as having defeated more Sky Knights than anyone. Such boasting is not without its merits: he has taken down the entire Storm Hawks squadron (even Aerrow in their first battle) and defeated the five-man Rex Guardian squadron in less than a minute. He formed a rivalry with Aerrow after the pilot episode, and the two are typically evenly matched, but there's often something that interferes with their fights before they finish (in one battle Dark Ace actually managed to disarm Aerrow, but a sudden shift on the airship they were on allowed Aerrow to get his weapons back to beat the Dark Ace). The Dark Ace serves as the commander of the Cyclonian Talons.

A ruthless warrior, the Dark Ace doesn't settle for simply defeating his opponents, at least not when he has the opportunity to do more. In his first battle with Aerrow, he states that the winner of a battle is the one to come out alive, though he lets Aerrow live simply to further damage his pride and to make a point to the spectators. In his battle with Harrier, he makes it a point to sever the Sky Knight's parachute after destroying his vehicle.
The question is what to do with Vintagekits - is he a bad lad, an evil man or a hot tempered Irishman? I think he is a combination of the first and last and he needs a very severe warning and/or a short ban. Permanently banning him and Kittybrewster will solve nothing as others just like them will arrive. These editors and their friends have to be forced to keep away from each other and certain pages. That is the only long term solution.

Unlike Master Cyclonis' other minions, the Dark Ace displays loyalty beyond that of the others. While Ravess and Snipe are loyal to her at least partially out of fear, the Dark Ace shows a willingness to protect Master Cyclonis even at his own expense, diving between her and a falling support beam in the pilot episode. Master Cyclonis herself jokingly dismisses his failure to defeat Aerrow in the same episode, and his position suggests she holds more faith in him than she does anyone else.
I'm aware much of this case is in camera and sub-judice, but I think it is breaking no secrets to say Kittybrewster was not the one to whom the threats were made, but that person at times in his behaviour too has been suspect. The above can be verifiable by diffs found here . Giano 09:03, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

In battle, the Dark Ace wields a two-handed long double blade that can fire deadly blasts of energy. Flashbacks show this weapon to be standard amongst all the original Storm Hawks, though their versions used crystals that produced blue-glowing blades rather than the Dark Ace's red one. It is most effective when used with a firebolt crystal. Attached to his left arm is some sort of hydraulic pump, the purpose of which is unclear. Like Aerrow, the Dark Ace has a signature attack which fires a massive energy pulse, though it doesn't have the same dramatic touches that Aerrow's does. He also uses a retractable hang-glider in place of a parachute; however, his version sports a pair of boosters for additional thrust.
:*The more I look into this case, the more strange the undercurrents seem to be. The Arbcom either has to accept this case and make a thorough investigation into exactly what has been going on, or leave it alone - unblock Vintagekits and let the whole bunch fight it out between themselves. The secretiveness of this case is alarming, there can be no harm in making it being public knowledge exactly what VK said, to who he said it and where he said it. The precise details which would identify the RL identity recipient can be with withheld. The fact that Vintagekits is not even allowed to defend himself here is also worrying. My own dealings in the last 12 hours have greatly increased my own suspicions. Giano 08:39, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
::Regarding Kittybrester's post above "Are SqueakBox, Giano II and Vk himself seeking to become famous for a moment" I think even the Arbcom will unanimously agree I am quite "famous" enough already. So no Kittybrester, you are quite wrong there. Giano 10:24, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

The Dark Ace pilots a Talon Switchblade Elite, in maneuverability, which is hampered by the excessive armor it comes equipped with. The Switchblade uses Magma 66 engines, which outperform any other engine at the cost of fuel economy, though the Cyclonian crystal resources are such that this point is moot. Attached to the wings are secondary blades, designed to slice through other vehicles in deliberate near-collisions. In addition, the nose and wings are reinforced to allow the vehicle to deliberately ram others and survive. The Dark Ace's model is also equipped with three-inch thick bronze absorption panels on the wings that repel most energy blasts, and a single ball-joint articulation between the front and back wheel that allows him to make impossible turns in bike mode.

This case goes far deeper than the conduct of one editor, the currently indefinitely blocked Vintagekits. While his conduct has at times been deplorable, the many, many breaches of policy by his opponents are plain for all to see. For well over six months there has been a campaign of disruption and POV pushing by a group of British (and assorted other) editors on articles related to The Troubles. Some of the Irish editors are equally to blame, very few people have clean hands in this case. In effect since the end of outright conflict in Northern Ireland, Wikipedia has become the new battleground between those believing the views of the British public are what should be presented as NPOV and Irish republicans wanting their side of the story to be told equally and fairly, or in some cases a biased Irish republican viewpoint.

Master Cyclonis
For my part, my editing has been misinterpreted by many editors. Many consider me a POV pusher biased in favour of the Provisional IRA, when the truth is I'm as English as they come. I have probably contributed as much in terms of sourced content to articles relating to Irish republicanism as any active editor. There are currently two articles under the Irish Republicanism WikiProject that are good articles, and I wrote, re-wrote or sourced 90% of both of them. If my editing was as biased as certain editors claim, they would never have passed GA. One administrator who holds a strong anti-Provisional IRA viewpoint has said privately to me that my editing was totally neutral, and anyone seeking to find much evidence to the contrary will have difficulty in doing so.
The 14-year-old Master Cyclonis (voiced by Lenore Zann) is the diabolical leader of Cyclonia. According to Asaph Fipke, Cyclonis is the descendant of a long line of evil emperors and empresses and became ruler at an early age because of a tragic incident with her father . . A paranoid megalomaniac with sociopathic and narcissistic tendencies, she is the main antagonist of the series (despite only appearing in a total of six episodes) and as such she exhibits the signature evil overlord traits: high intelligence, expertise with doomsday devices (crystals in this case) and a violent dislike for failure on her subordinates' part; although she's more forgiving to Dark Ace, as she may see him as an older brother. To accentuate her evil personality, any particularly evil statements made by her carry a distorted secondary voice in the background. She wears a hood, which uncurls into a mane, a cloak, which she takes off during battle, and a cape, which she wears underneath the cloak.

Master Cyclonis' weapon of choice is her crystal staff, which, like Piper's staff, can have any number of effects based on the crystal powering it. The staff can reform itself if broken. In addition, Cyclonis herself can control and generate crystal energy without an intervening device, and can transform her weapons crystals during battle. She is usually standing at a console in her control room that has many mechanical arms, using it to create new crystals for use with her staff. She has many abilities with her crystals, such as deflection, teleportation, levitation, and shielding.
I am no longer an active Wikipedia editor, so if anyone wishes to spend their time hunting down evidence to blacken my name it will be an exercise in fulility, and there is ample evidence to refute any claims. However the conflict across articles has intensified since I stopped editing Wikipedia, and something needs to be done to get many editors back on the straight and narrow and improving the encylopedia in constructive ways. For this reason I implore the Arbitration Committee to accept this case to examine the conduct of all involved.. <font face="Verdana"><span style="color:#006600">One Night In Hackney</span><span style="color:#006600">303</span></font> 22:26, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Cyclonis considers Piper to be the strongest member of the Storm Hawks due to her crystal expertise and fighting skills; in contrast, she is contemptuous of Aerrow and the other Storm Hawks. In one episode she disguises herself as a ditzy blonde girl named Lark to befriend Piper and after being found out tries to get Piper to join her, claiming that they are very much alike, more than Piper will admit. Piper refuses and remarks about Cyclonis' "twisted game" idea of friendship. She also describes Cyclonis as a lonely girl who desperately wants a friend and only acts the way she does to hide her true self. Cyclonis then attempts to destroy Piper using an Oblivion crystal, but since they were friends for a short time, the crystal was useless against Piper. Defeated and outnumbered, Cyclonis flees.

I have had relatively few dealings with Vintagekits. What communication we had, I found him to be a genial character, but very sensitive and quick to take offence. Reading through many of the debates he was involved in (although in general I did not get involved myself) I have the distinct impression that certain editors knew exactly where his breaking point was, and steered him relentlessly towards it. Maybe the ugliest example was the editor who contributed anonymously as 84.13.156.208 and who tried to provoke Vk even as he was attempting to get himself unblocked.
I find the whole section "Champagne" on User talk:Kittybrewster, culminating in this diff very disturbing. At best it is a show of very undignified gloating by four or five editors (and not btw what talk pages are intended for); at worst it looks like a conspiracy. To come down hard on somebody who doesn't know where to draw the line, while those who know how to "play the game" get off scot-free (pun not intended!) would be very unfair. ===Mr. Moss===
Statement by User:Counter-revolutionary
Mr. Moss (voiced by Mark Oliver) is the Cyclonian warden of a high-security prison located on Terra Zartacla. He leads the hunt for Aerrow and Radarr when they manage to escape from his prison. In his attempt to apprehend them, he inadvertently allows the Storm Hawks to free everyone in the prison.
I have been away for the past few days and have returned to find myself listed as an "interested party". My experience of Vintagekits has left me with the impression that he is a most discourteous and deliberately provocative editor. He has made many comments which, if the parties involved were still alive (such as in the case of Sir Norman Stronge, would have been libelous; such as accusing him of funding terrorism (a wholly false claim). He has also made provocative statements such as this . I know there are many more, which I cannot locate at the moment, the above are just an example of the sort of editor he is. None of us are without fault but VKs seems to go out of his way to cause trouble. That is all I have to say on the matter.--Counter-revolutionary 17:08, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Moss flies an upgraded Heli-Blade in combat, which he affectionately calls "Bessie", and fights using a crystal-powered whip, which fires energy buzzsaws that can cut through trees with ease.
Statement by User:David Lauder
It is fascinating to read some of the remarks on this page. I support the comments of User:Rockpocket and User:Counter-revolutionary above. It is laughable to suggest that Vintagekits is just another editor doing good work who has been misread. It is also more than apparent that his overwhelming supporters are Irish Republicans, plainly shown by a glance at their user pages. I have nothing against Irish Republicans (my first delightful girlfiend was from Limerick) but I do not believe that Wikipedia is the correct forum for them to present their anti-British case. Nor do I think it is a forum for editors such as Vintagekits whose user page blatantly displays serious POV prejudices which, when put into operation, must cause instant disruption and grief to Wikipedia. More importantly, if you examine the contributions logs of Vintagekits, you will see that he generally sticks to an Irish Republican agenda. But any editor challenging his view of things on such pages means that Vintagekits will instantly move to articles that editor has created or made substantial contributions to with a view to bullying tactics of a varying nature, right up to AfDs, once he has located a Wikipedia 'guideline' he thinks he can rely upon.

Mr. Moss, as well as most of the other Cyclonians on Zartacla, speaks with a Texan accent
I am really not interested in Irish affairs at all and it is ridiculous to try and sort opponents of Vintagekits into some sort of cabal similar to his. I strayed into 'his arena' of interest maybe once or twice and was penalised accordingly. I then found where he was attacking the contributions of another editor (User:Kittybrewster) under the usual guises and I foolishly entered my feelings on the AfD pages only to bring Vintagekits sneering remarks down on my head, with several of his collegues in tow, likewise. His behaviour towards other users who fail to support him is constant bullying, unpleasantness, and unkindness. He fails all the usual WP tests of civility, good faith, and no personal attacks, direct and indirect, for which has has already had several blocks, one of those being an "indefinite" block which, amazingly, was not. His latest block should be upheld.

Ravess
Lastly, there is at least one editor above who has had the audacity to state he is "uninvolved" when he has consistantly supported Vintagekits in the past. I think he should at least correct that heading. David Lauder 21:26, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
Ravess (voiced by Cathy Weseluck) is a high-ranking Talon leader in the Cyclonian army. Considering herself a model Cyclonian, Ravess is a notorious perfectionist and quickly gets annoyed by anything that may interfere with her reputation, whether it's a Sky Knight invasion, incompetence from her troops, or the stupidity of her brother Snipe. As part of her servitude to Cyclonia, Ravess is given control of Terra Bluster.

In combat, Ravess is an accurate archer. Although she uses a standard bow and arrow instead of a crossbow like Finn, her lethality with the weapon is unsurpassed, and can even hit a moving target from aboard her skimmer. She also has a love for the violin, usually snapping at troops who distract her from practice, and often rides into battle with a single violin-playing Talon following her (providing "theme music"). Once, she even incorporated her hobby into the development of a powerful weapon stationed on Polaris Point, though the Storm Hawks destroyed both the weapon and the cliff it stood on.
Statement by Logoistic
My purpose here is to comment on the broader issue of Vintage's editing of "Troubles and related issues" articles that the arbitrators have said they will consider.

Ravess' personal skimmer is a standard Switchblade Elite, customized by Ravess with aerodynamically redesigned armor plating to achieve maximum speed and stealth. It bears no weapons, though Ravess' archery skills more than make up for this omission. Ravess also owns a personal carrier, which is smaller than a standard Destroyer and is shaped more like the beak of a hawk. The ship has Ravess' private chambers aboard, where Ravess will frequently practice her violin alongside a full orchestra of Talons. The ship was damaged very badly by the Cyclonian Exopod in "Stratosphere".
I have had much interaction with Vintage in the early stages of his Wikipedia carreer. I believe Giano has grossly simplified the issue when he paints a picture of an Irish Republican vs. British "establishment" clash - to the point where the analagy becomes quite offensive. Undoubtedly Vintage's presence has served to counter any POV that might come from an Anglo-centric Wikipedia - I myself have benefited from our arguments over "terrorism", for example. Vintage has also a lot of knowledge and a lot of energy to contribute: he has made thousands of edits. However, I think he has two major issues that mean these positives are far outweighted by the negatives for Wikipedia.

Snipe
First, he seems to have an intense anti-British sentiment, to the extent where he attacks it almost wherever it takes its form. Even when Squeakbox wished Vintage well when SirFozzie last unblocked him, with Squeakbox commenting that this was his "British sense of fair play", Vintage had to have a dig at this, replying that "Lol! Aye, we'll put it down to the British sense of fair play alright! Just kiddin"(here). He linked this to an article on the Birmingham Six - a group of men unsafely convicted over the PIRA Birmingham pub bombings. This doesn't sound like 'kidding', but is a deliberate dig that appears even when a user is reaching out to him.
Snipe (voiced by Colin Murdock) is a gluttonous, childish slob who showers himself in opulence while his subjects slave away in abject poverty. Not a particularly bright person (he speaks of himself in the third person on occasion) nor a very competent pilot, Snipe makes up for his failings with brute strength and a single-minded dedication to smashing things. Snipe is Ravess's brother. As one of the Talon leaders, Snipe is given control of Terra Nimbus.

Snipe's weapon is a crystal-powered energy mace. Embedded in the iron ball are ten firebolt crystals, and the ball itself is attached to the handle by a retractable chain. Snipe's mace can fire deadly balls of energy in addition to its general capacity for smashing things.
This anti-British sentiment, which I think might even comes on to the point of paranoia at times, leads to the second problem: his consistent breaking of Wiki policies. Plenty of other Irish Republican Wikipedians get on just fine without breaking revert rules, using sockpuppets and meatpuppets, canvassing, vote stacking, making personal attacks, breaking mediation rulings, and being uncivil. Yet he has flounted the policies quite conistently. He has been given plenty of chances, yet has failed to restrain himself and follow the rules that everybody else has to follow. This is the simple issue at hand. Whether he introduces controversial stuff into articles is irrelevent - Wikipedia works best were conflicts of opinion are present. Even if he is pro-Irish Republican, other editors are there to balance out his own POV.

Snipe pilots a Talon Heli-Blade Elite, a motorcycle-sized version of a Heliscooter. Snipe's Elite model is equipped with extra armor plating and several large blades attached to the nose. It also comes with a pair of rapid-fire, crystal-powered blasters, though Snipe doesn't make use of them. In one episode, he had a specialized battle airship built, which was fitted with an excessive amount of weapons, making it nigh-impossible to attack. However, the ship crashed in the Wastelands to due a combination of sabotage by the Storm Hawks and Snipe's own incompetence.
It is a shame that Vintage has not learned to control himself. I sincerely think he has a lot to offer Wikipedia and I have grown to like him, but given his track record, seriously doubt whether he can control himself.

Talons
I think his history of breaking Wikipedia policies is what needs to be considered here, not his particular political opinion. Logoistic 22:14, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
The Cyclonian Talons are Master Cyclonis' army of well-trained soldiers, though in a fashion typical of fodder villains they are inevitably defeated en-masse with seemingly little effort on the part of the heroes. They wield crystal-tipped staves that fire energy blasts. They wear red goggles to cover their eyes and are often blond, though it varies to a degree.

In aerial combat, the Talons are often led by either the Dark Ace, Snipe, or Ravess, though they do fly on their own on several occasions. The Talons commonly use standard Switchblades or Heli-Blades, neither of which sport the special enhancements of their squadron leaders. Rather than using hand-held weaponry in-flight, they use blasters mounted on their vehicles.

The Cyclonian Talons also have at least one model of carrier ship at their disposal: Cyclonian Destroyers, heavily-armed warships which are the second-largest of their type in the series, the Murk Raiders having the largest. Somewhat resembling a giant beak in overall design, the Cyclonian Destroyer is a self-contained invasion force. Its launch bays have enough room for at least several dozen Talon Switchblades and at least one squadron of Talon Heli-Blades. It is propelled by six engines, each with a pair of thrusters on them, and has shielding such that in a sustained battle with the Condor, the Condors two energy cannons couldn't so much as scratch the hull. The ship is armed to the point that it can barely fly, among which are at least three triple-blaster sets and five massive cannons mounted on the bow. As Finn demonstrates in "Calling All Domos", their relatively unprotected engines make this an exploitable weakness, though in general the ship's heavy shields and large compliment of weapons discourage any attempts.

Raptors
Final decision
The Raptors are lizard-like humanoids in Master Cyclonis's employ. Partially pirates and rogues, they do her bidding under the threat that their home, Terra Bogaton, would be destroyed otherwise. The promise of riches and access to new hunting grounds provides further incentive. Their names, apart from Repton, are onomatopoeic for the expulsion of mucus.
All numbering based on decision (vote counts and comments are there as well)

The Raptors pilot Bone Wings, vehicles resembling a Skimmer in basic design but optimized for rough terrain and ground combat, being built somewhat like dirtbikes. Their design makes them quite noisy and hence makes them impractical for stealth. The Raptors, aside from Repton with his boomerang, wield Raptor Swords, short, saw-toothed, double-edged blades powered by a scalus crystal.
Principles
Neutral point of view
Repton
Repton (voiced by Scott McNeil) is the cunning leader among his three bumbling brothers (whom he can't believe were born in the same nest as him), and his only reason for tolerating them being a promise to his mother not to kill them. Repton is the ruler of Terra Bogaton. A ruthless warrior, Repton's hobby is collecting the shields of defeated Sky Knight squadrons. Considered nasty and bitter even amongst his own kind, he is a seasoned hunter; cunning, patient and driven. However, in his pursuit of his prey, Repton will quite often ignore obvious danger until it is inevitably too late to avoid it. He is also somewhat gullible in regards to information about his target or prey, in one instance believing Finn's lie that the "rozen yoga" (an item that he perceived to be valuable) was located nearby with a group of Phoenixes. He and his group are responsible for defeating the Interceptors, Starling's former squadron.
1) Wikipedia:Neutral point of view contemplates fair representation of all significant point of view regarding a subject.

Repton uses a crystal-powered energy boomerang in battle, which becomes a fiery energy ring when thrown. It can also act as a curved slashing weapon, rather like a sharply curved scimitar.
:Passed 8-0 at 08:08, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

His accent is very similar to that of Dinobot, another character McNeil is notable for voicing.
Reliable sources
2) Wikipedia:Reliable sources requires that information be supported by a reliable source.

Hoerk
:Passed 8-0 at 08:08, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Hoerk (voiced by Colin Murdock) is the tallest and strongest Raptor, even more so than Repton. However, he lacks the intelligence and combat skills of his leader.

Disruption
Leugey
A nervous, yet apparently more attentive Raptor, Leugey (voiced by Scott McNeil) is often the first of the group to notice when something bad is going to happen, but only to be inevitably ignored until it's too late. Being the scapegoat of the group, he tends to be blamed for any failure, regardless whether he was responsible or not. Examples of his brainlessness are when he dumped a crate full for fire crystals into a volcano's core when he was instructed put them in one at a time and when he had his brothers fly above the treeline on Bogaton only to get shot down by their own anti-air defenses.
3) The editing of users who disrupt Wikipedia by aggressive, sustained point of view editing may be restricted. In extreme cases they may be banned from the site.

Spitz
:Passed 8-0 at 08:08, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
A skinny and foul-tempered Raptor, Spitz (voiced by Samuel Vincent) makes up for his size and lack of intelligence with sheer determination. He also speaks with a lisp.

Findings of Fact
Locus of the dispute
1) This dispute is centered on auxiliary issues which relate to The Troubles, with notability of baronets as a side issue.

:Passed 6-0 at 08:08, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Gold heart and Thepiper
3) Gold heart, also editing as Thepiper and other accounts has engaged in serious harassment of another user.

Remedies
Note: All remedies that refer to a period of time, for example to a ban of X months or a revert parole of Y months, are to run concurrently unless otherwise stated.

Probation for disruptive editors
3.2) To address the extensive edit-warring that has taken place on articles relating to The Troubles, as well as the Ulster banner and British baronets, any user who hereafter engages in edit-warring or disruptive editing on these or related articles may be placed on Wikipedia:Probation by any uninvolved administrator. This may include any user who was a party to this case, or any other user after a warning has been given. The administrator shall notify the user on his or her talkpage and make an entry on Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/The Troubles#Log of blocks, bans, and probations. The terms of probation, if imposed on any editor, are set forth in the enforcement ruling below.

:Passed 5-0 at 08:08, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Vintagekits
4) The indefinite community ban on Vintagekits is lifted and he may edit normally subject to the terms of probation as defined in the enforcement ruling below.

:Passed 5-0 at 08:08, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Enforcement
Enforcement by block
1) Participants who violate the terms of the probation may be blocked for an appropriate period of time. Blocks are to be logged at bans, and probations

:Passed 7-0 at 08:08, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Terms of probation
2) Participants placed on probation are limited to one revert per article per week with respect to the set of articles included in the probation. Any participant may be briefly banned for personal attacks or incivility. Reversion of edits by anonymous IPs do not count as a revert.

Final remedies for AE case
What's gone on here is all too common among the areas fraught with ethnic strife on wiki. Two or more sides who have been feuding in real life for decades, centuries, or even thousands of years bring their world view to wiki and wiki becomes an extension of their real world problems. Someone makes a change. A person from the other side sees it as "misinformation" and we all know the rest of the story. Any admin trying to solve these ongoing wiki strifes should be commended for bravery as most admins won't go near these topics. Yet what happens all too often? They get attacked by both sides because these cases are prime examples of the fact that you can't make everyone happy. I've spent quite a bit of time looking at this thread and am proposing a modification of Tznkai's proposal as I don't see admin consensus for support of it, though I can see why he made the proposals he made. If remedies don't have the support of the admin community, they are largely ineffective. Ideally, peaceful cooperation would fall upon all of wiki and the energy spent on matters like arbitration would get spent on article building, but we're not there yet.

Revision as of 20:26, 10 October 2008

This is a list of characters in the Cartoon Network series Storm Hawks.

Aerrow

Finn

Junko

Aside from his busters, Junko occasionally wields a cruiser-grade energy cannon as a hand-held weapon and, like Finn, uses the Condor's energy cannons during ship-to-ship combat.

Piper

She is a master of a unique style of martial arts called "Sky Fu" (the Storm Hawks' equivalent to Kung Fu) and her knowledge of crystals make her attacks in battle unpredictable, since during any given battle her crystal-powered staff could potentially have a different effect.

Radarr

Radarr is similar to Daxter from the Jak and Daxter series.

Stork

Other Sky Knight squadrons

Absolute Zeroes

Buff Buzzards

A Sky Knight Squadron mentioned by Ayrgyn as one of those defeated by the Cyclonians, they seem to be Nordic in appearance. They first appeared in "Velocity" when their leader traded items with Finn and raced in the competition.

Neck Deeps

Rebel Ducks

Red Eagles

Rex Guardians

Screaming Queens

An all-female Squadron defeated by the Cyclonians, as mentioned by Ayrgyn. They first appeared in the pilot episode when they attacked along with the other sky knights against Cyclonia in vain. They also appeared in "Velocity" as competitors for the race.

Starling

Third Degree Burners

Other characters

In addition to the Blood Crow, there are at least two other carriers of similar but slightly larger design available to the Murk Raiders. These versions lack the bow mouth, which is replaced by a similar-looking mask. In overall size, they even dwarf the Cyclonian Destroyers.

The Colonel

I.J. Domiwick

The Producers

Talon Cadets

In awe of their new heroes, the children reveal that they want to become Storm Hawks instead. Aerrow entertains the idea of having them as a reserve team.

Sky Sirens

Leviathan

The Leviathan is a giant monster that disguises itself as a terra to lure in ships and its favorite food, cloud krill. The monster is greatly feared by Sky Side Shanty as it can swallow ships whole. Survivors of its attacks lived in its mouth and throat like parasites, eating cloud krill to stay alive. One of the survivors was Tritonn's brother, Horace. It was finally defeated by the combined efforts of the Storm Hawks and the Sky Knight squads that inhabit the Sky Side Shanty.

Gundstaff

Gundstaff is a giant who first appeared in "Life With Leugey". He has a large collection of rare crystals which he houses in a vault. The Storm Hawks steal some crystals from him to make an anti-Gravitron crystal to separate Leugey and Stork. This upsets him and he attacks them with a giant crystal powered mace (much like the one belonging to Snipe). He lives on an isolated terra in an old house with a giant chicken.

Cyclonians

The Cyclonians are the main villains of the series. Their main base is located on Cyclonia, though their empire has annexed several other terras for various reasons. The Cyclonian empire is ruled by Master Cyclonis, who seeks dominion over Atmos. Like most names on the show, the name is a pun on a type of weather, in this case a cyclone.

Dark Ace

Master Cyclonis

The 14-year-old Master Cyclonis (voiced by Lenore Zann) is the diabolical leader of Cyclonia. According to Asaph Fipke, Cyclonis is the descendant of a long line of evil emperors and empresses and became ruler at an early age because of a tragic incident with her father [1].

Mr. Moss

Moss flies an upgraded Heli-Blade in combat, which he affectionately calls "Bessie", and fights using a crystal-powered whip, which fires energy buzzsaws that can cut through trees with ease.

Mr. Moss, as well as most of the other Cyclonians on Zartacla, speaks with a Texan accent

Ravess

Snipe

Talons

It is propelled by six engines, each with a pair of thrusters on them, and has shielding such that in a sustained battle with the Condor, the Condor's two energy cannons couldn't so much as scratch the hull.

Raptors

The Raptors are lizard-like humanoids in Master Cyclonis's employ. Partially pirates and rogues, they do her bidding under the threat that their home, Terra Bogaton, would be destroyed otherwise. The promise of riches and access to new hunting grounds provides further incentive. Their names, apart from Repton, are onomatopoeic for the expulsion of mucus.

Repton uses a crystal-powered energy boomerang in battle, which becomes a fiery energy ring when thrown. It can also act as a curved slashing weapon, rather like a sharply curved scimitar.

His accent is very similar to that of Dinobot, another character McNeil is notable for voicing.

Hoerk

Hoerk (voiced by Colin Murdock) is the tallest and strongest Raptor, even more so than Repton. However, he lacks the intelligence and combat skills of his leader.

Spitz

A skinny and foul-tempered Raptor, Spitz (voiced by Samuel Vincent) makes up for his size and lack of intelligence with sheer determination. He also speaks with a lisp.
