I am an Australian matriarch living in Melbourne, Australia. I'm a practicing Pagan who believes the Earth is alive and sentient (see Gaia philosophy).

So I'm a weirdo. Deal with it.

My formative years were spent in Hong Kong, China, and I have also lived in Fairmont, West Virginia and in the United Kingdom.

Interests include choral composition, writing, rowing, chess, sustainability and being a geek. I have been a member of AICSA since 1992, and have attended every Intervarsity Choral Festival since that year.

Qualifications include degrees in Politics and English (Flinders University), and postgraduate work in Software Engineering (RMIT University). I'm a professional writer working at Swinburne University.

I'm a practicing slackarse whole foods vegan primarily for environmental reasons. Slackarse vegans consume honey in preference to refined sugar. Bees are seriously cool little dudes and should be worshipped.

I love dark chocolate, organic food and country music.
