Chak Jhumra
Chak Jhumra is a town near the city of Faisalabad, Pakistan. It is a sub-division of Faisalabad District and has a Tehsil municipal administration (TMA). Chak Jhumra Town consists of 15 union counsils.
The town has a runway belonging to the army, but it is rarely used. Chak Jhumra is a railway junction so many people travel through its railway station. The town is connected by road to Salarwala, Shahkot (Pakistan), Chiniot and Faisalabad. In Chak Jhumra, a sizeable population is uses power looms to earn their livelihood.
Castes
Jats, Shiekh Ansari and Arains are the major castes here. Rana, Taili, Malik, Mughals, Mairassi, Shiekh Ansari Mauchi, Sheikh, Shah and other casts are also found in Jhumra.
Education
There is popular school named Bloom Star High School which is one of the best private schools in the area. Children from other villages come to study at Bloom Star School.[citation needed]
Landmarks
There is a well known mosque and tomb of hazrat Qaim Ali Shah. There is a Sikh Gurudwara (shrine) dedicated to Shaheed Bhai Dalip Singh.[1] There is also a small market called Chak Jhumra main bazar. It has Punjabi cultural and historical values for their products food and other stuff.
