Jaranwala (Urdu: جڑانوالہ) is a town in district Faisalabad in the province of Punjab in Pakistan . It is located south of Faisalabad .
history
Jaranwala is said to be 400 years old. After Pakistan's independence in 1947, Muslim refugees from India settled here.

Jaranwala has fertile land. It produces rice, wheat, sugar cane, vegetables and fruits. Jaranwala Grain Market is one of the busiest markets in Punjab.
