== Mission and Aims ==

=== Aims ===

• To promote transnational cooperation between HEIs in the European Higher Education Area (the ‘Bologna countries’)

• To provide a platform for all members (HEIs and associations) for exchange of information, project work and representation

• To foster cooperation with HE institutions outside the EHEA (the ‘external dimension’ of the Bologna Process)

• To achieve cooperation in the field of higher education by maintaining close link with other organisations that have similar objectives (ENQA, [[European University Association]], [[European Students' Union]], ACA, EAIE, UNESCO, etc.)

=== Mission ===

EURASHE’s mission is to represent the views of professionally oriented institutions and programmes in the Higher Education systems in countries of EHEA, either in binary HE systems (professional or vocational higher education) or in unitary ‘university’ systems.
