Francesco Talenti (c. 13001369) was an Italian architect and sculptor who worked in Florence.

He is mentioned at the Orvieto Cathedral in 1325. In 1351 he succeeded Andrea Pisano as director of the works of the Florence Cathedral. Talenti enlarged its structure by redesigning the apses and prolonging the nave, making the church the largest ever built in Europe so far. he also finished the Giotto's Bell Tower.
