Peltier leads The Strong Right, a right-wing populist faction of the UMP, similar to The Popular Right faction. He was a founder of the pro-life student group Young Christian Action (Jeunesse Action Chrétienté) [1]

Peltier joined Reconquête in support of Éric Zemmour's campaign in the 2022 French presidential election.[2]
