[2] In 1998 she appeared in the 7th episode of the 1st season of the HBO series Sex and the City as Alison Roth in the episode "The Monogamists".[3] She played Diane Sawyer in the 2008 film Frost/Nixon and has made appearances in various other TV shows such as Law & Order, Supernatural, Cold Case, Damages, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Rescue Me, White Collar, Royal Pains, The Carrie Diaries, Alpha House, and Law & Order: SVU.
