(Robert) Boyd Holbrook (September 1, 1981) is an American fashion model from Kentucky who was discovered while he had a part time job, working as a carpenter for a theatre by a girl who was watching the play and who asked him if he wanted to move to New York City to become a model.[1]

Boyd has been used as a model for many labels such as Gucci, Bill Blass, Calvin Klein, DSquared, and was once chosen as one of Dior Homme's most celebrated male models. He is also the face of the fragrance "Antidote" by Viktor and Rolf. Boyd has worked for a few agencies such as Next, Elite Models, IMG, View Management, Models1, Bleu, Friday, d'Men, ScanElite. He is currently listed at #24 on model.com's top 50 male models. [2]

He was famously known to date model Omahyra Mota and the couple posed nude in the book "Omahyra & Boyd" for Ellen von Unwerth[3] as well as many editorials such as Slash Magazine [4]. He has also dated model Julia Dunstall.[5]

Boyd plays a role as Denton Smith in the upcoming movie Milk (film) by Gus Van Sant.[6] He plays another acting role in the "Allison" music video for Permanent Me.[7] Another one of Boyd's talents outside of modeling is art as he opens his first show called "Iscariot" in RARE gallery in Chelsea, NY. [8] He is also a poet, being previously known as 'that model-poet'.[9]
