Llwynypia is a town in Rhondda Cynon Taff, Wales, lying in the Rhondda Fawr Valley. Postally it is a sub-district of Tonypandy

The town lies near the Mynydd y Gelli Iron and Bronze Age settlement and stone circle. It is served by Valley Lines trains on the Treherbert line from Cardiff.
