Luis Valcarce Vidal (born 3 February 1993) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Polish club Arka Gdynia. Mainly a left back, he can also play as a left winger.

Club career

Born in Ponferrada, Castile and León,[1] Valcarce began his career with hometown club SD Ponferradina, making his senior debut with the reserves. In 2011 he moved to CD Numancia, being initially assigned to the youth setup and being promoted to the B team after one year.

On 17 August 2013, Valcarce played his first professional match, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 0–0 draw at CD Lugo for the Segunda División championship.[2] On 30 January 2015, both he – injured at the time – and his twin brother Pablo[1] renewed their contract with the Rojillos, until 2017.[3]

Valcarce was definitely promoted to the main squad on 20 August 2015, being assigned the no. 14 jersey.[4] He left in June 2019 after his contract expired, and the following month returned to his first club Ponferradina.[5]
