Neil Fraser Johnson is a Professor of physics notable for his work in complexity theory and complex systems, spanning quantum information, econophysics, and condensed matter physics. He is also notable for his book Financial Market Complexity published by Oxford University Press.
Education
He received his MA from the University of Cambridge and then received his PhD in 1989 from Harvard University, under Henry Ehrenreich, for a thesis entitled: Electronic Structure and Optical Properties of III-V and II-VI Semiconductor Superlattices.
Career
He was first appointed at the University of Oxford and then in 2007 he was appointed Professor of Physics at the University of Miami, Florida.
