José Joaquín Moreno Verdú, 'Josico' (born 6 January 1975 in Hellín, Albacete), is a Spanish football defensive midfielder, currently in La Liga for Villarreal CF.
A tireless, hard-working midfielder, Josico debuted in the Spanish first division with Albacete Balompié, in 1995-96. He went on to represent UD Las Palmas, joining Villarreal CF in 2002-03, where he played a major part in the team's domestic and European consolidation.
