Pyrgula is a genus of freshwater snail with a gill and an operculum, an aquatic gastropod mollusk in the family Hydrobiidae.[3][4]

Pyrgula is the type genus of the subfamily Pyrgulinae.[3] Pyrgula annulata is the type species of the genus Pyrgula.
