The Ajax-Pickering Transit Authority is the former public transit agency in the City of Pickering, Ontario and the Town of Ajax, Ontario. It, along with the other public transit agencies in Durham Region, were merged on January 1,2006 to form Durham Region Transit.
History
Established on September 4 2001 from the merger of Pickering Transit (C. 1970s) and Ajax Transit (c. 1973), it was merged into Durham Region Transit in 2006.

APTA had 50 buses:

- Orion Bus Industries V and VI
- New Flyer Industries D40
- GMDD New Looks
- MTB Gliders
