Audi RS 4

The RS4 is a high-performance Audi-branded sedan from the Volkswagen Group. It will become available to the public in the Spring of 2006 with a pricetag of approximately 78 thousand USD. The powertrain will consist of a 4.2-liter V8 internal combustion engine with FSI, a six-speed manual transmission, and all-wheel drive. The gear ratios in the transmission are said to be closely spaced. The suspension, hood, and front fenders are made of aluminium. Interior trim is carbon fiber. Volkswagen intends to use the RS4 to compete with BMW's M3.
