Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes is an upcoming crossover fighting game featuring characters from the Japanese animation studio Tatsunoko Production and video game company Capcom.[3] Capcom USA is working on bringing the game to North America.[4]

Gameplay

The game, according to materials released by Capcom, is the seventh installment in the company's Vs. series, which includes the Marvel vs. Capcom and Capcom vs. SNK games. Each player will have a team of two, and players can switch their characters at any time, and even perform two special moves at the same time (which however uses up two special bars). However, large characters, such as Tatsunoko's Gold Lightan and Capcom's PTX-40A will fight on their own without a partner [5][6]. Producer Ryouta Niizuma announced the inclusion of minigames and the option for a simplified control scheme and two characters exclusively to the console version, Jun from Gatchaman (G-Force) and Roll from the Megaman series. The game has support for the Classic Controller and the Gamecube Controller as well. Gameplay will be a cross between the Marvel vs Capcom series and the upcoming Street Fighter IV. It will be a 2.5D fighting game.
