Kurt Lockwood (born June 04, 1970) is an American pornographic actor and model.

Biography

Born on June 4, 1970 and originally hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, Kurt Lockwood (nee Steve Fitzgerald) is a multifaceted artist with an emphasis on acting and music. After graduating in 1992 from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in Theatre, Kurt relocated to San Francisco from Baltimore with his band. A year later he moved to Los Angeles, where he has lived ever since. The then Steve acted as an MTV host and was a raver gang member in America’s Most Wanted. In addition, he had an assortment of small roles, like thugs, punks, pool boys, surfers, stoners, hippies, yuppies, hip hoppers and frat brats. His mainstream claim to fame from this era was an uncredited role in the Steve Martin movie Mixed Nuts. All this culminated in his acquiring the highly coveted SAG card but ultimately didn’t pan out into acting fame and fortune. Returning to music by forming the band SexyChrist, the highly successful local group seemed on the verge of getting signed when musical mores shifted to rap and hip hop, leaving the cutting edge punk/rock band behind. In 1999 Kurt toured as the guitarist for the band punk icon Dee Dee Ramone formed once he left the seminal punk band The Ramones.[1] After doing some gonzo scenes for Luc Wylder and Alexandra Silk of Fallen Angels Productions that year Kurt returned to acting and music for the next two years. In addition to those passions, he also did photography and writing, specifically penning a play based on the life of his idol, Kurt Cobain. Then, as fate would have it, the adult film industry found him again.

In 2002 Hustler director Chris Woodrum offered him the starring role in his own line for Larry Flint Digital in a now-defunct online series, www.trailertrash.com. [2] He performed sixty scenes as Johnny Coxville, a parody of the Jackass star Johnny Knoxville. This led to Roy Karch, director of then-girlfriend Ava Vincent’s latest movie asking Steve to perform in his features and his career in adult film stardom was off and running. [3] He rapidly made a name for himself in this world as one of the new breed of male porn stars. Gone were the overweight, unattractive mustachioed males, replaced by handsome, muscular guys such as the newly minted Kurt (a nod to the late Nirvana singer). As his reputation in the industry grew, so did the demand for his services. Since 2002 Kurt has been in close to 1400 scenes with various female adult film stars, both on film/tape and on the Internet at such sites as www.sexandsubmission.com, www.mikehancock.com and www.matrock.com, among others. In addition, he was featured on Seymore Butts’ Showtime cable TV show Family Business (TV series) in six episodes in 2005 as well as being featured in pictorial layouts in Penthouse (magazine) and Hustler. [4]

In 2005 Sex-Z Pictures offered Kurt the directing reins as well as the lead in his first full-length feature. “The Decline of Western Civilization, Part 69, The Porno Years” is an homage to one of Penelope Spheeris’ classic rock/metal documentaries, The Decline of Western Civilization II. As this choice indicates, music is still a passion of his and he sings and plays guitar for his original punk/rock band Porn City Punx. In addition to his many scenes in other adult movies, Kurt has continued to direct features for Bo Kenney and Sex-Z Pictures. He took the helm with such titles as “L.A. Vice,” a takeoff on Miami Vice, as well as “Lords of Doggie Style Town,” “Thumbsuckers 2,” “Teen Cock Rockers” and his latest release “The Real Boogie Nights,” a parody of Boogie Nights with Kurt assuming the Dirk Diggler role.
