The Wolverhampton Wolves are a British Speedway team based in Wolverhampton, England.
They were the British Elite League Champions in 2002.[1]
They are sponsored by Parry's International Travel, and have signed a new deal with owner Dave Parry (previous speedway rider for the Wolverhampton Wolves) for the 2008 season. The team is managed by ex speedway rider Peter Adams and the promoter of the club is Chris Van Straaten.
When the team was founded in 1951 (and operated until closure early season in 1954) they rode at Monmore Green and were known as the Wolverhampton Wasps. Speedway was staged at Monmore Green in the pioneer days of the late 1920s.
