Ángel Gómez Hernández (born October 7, 1988 in Algeciras , Andalusia ) is a Spanish film director and screenwriter .

Life

Ángel Gómez Hernández was born in Algeciras in the Autonomous Region of Andalusia in 1988 . Until 2009 he attended the Cesur Formación. He completed his studies in film directing and screenwriting at the Ciudad de la Luz study center in Alicante, where the film studios of the same name are located, in 2012.

After a series of short films such as Y la muerte lo seguía from 2012, video clips, documentaries and commercials, Hernández made his feature film debut as a director with the horror film Voces , which will be released on July 31, 2020.

Hernández is one of the founders of a Madrid-based film school, the Escuela Verité, and works as a professor of camera at the University of Cádiz . He also gives courses in directing and screenwriting.
