Medical professional court of Lower Saxony
The Medical Professional Court of Lower Saxony is a court to punish violations of their professional duties by doctors. The court with jurisdiction for Lower Saxony is part of the state's professional jurisdiction , but an independent judging body affiliated with the Medical Association .
The medical professional court decides independently of proceedings before ordinary courts. It is manned by a professional judge and two honorary assessors . These assessors are also members of the Lower Saxony Medical Association .
