Ralph Guise-Rübe (* 1966 in Kassel ) is a German lawyer , judge and president of the Hanover regional court .

Life

After attending school, Ralph Guise-Rübe studied at the Georg-August University in Göttingen , where he submitted his dissertation in 1996 under the title The postponement of procedural complaints in the revision of criminal proceedings and the possibility of reinstatement in the previous state .

Also in 1996, Guise-Rübes began his legal career, initially as a probationary judge, and from 1999 as a judge at the Göttingen Regional Court . In 2002 he became a judge at the Higher Regional Court of Celle and in the same year until 2009 he took over the management of the ICT and Quality Assurance department of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice . Most recently as Head Ministerial Councilor , he was responsible for the reorganization of information technology (IT) operations in connection with around 15,000 jobs, electronic legal transactions in public administration and a strategic realignment of the specialist procedures known as EUREKA and EUREKA-Fach .

After Ralph Guise-Rübe had served as President of the Hildesheim Regional Court from 2009 to 2014 , he took over the presidency of the Hanover Regional Court on April 9, 2014, succeeding Dieter Schneidewind . His application for the presidency of the Higher Regional Court in Celle failed, as did his competitor lawsuit in 2018 against the appointment of Stefanie Otte as President in Celle.

Ralph Guise-Rübe began around 2009 - inspired by a lecture by Club of Rome member Franz Josef Radermacher in the Rotary Club of Hildesheim - to deal with the consequences of globalization . As a result, Guise-Rübe got involved in development aid projects , and from 2014 onwards, through the ChildFund, sponsored five children in the Philippines , India , Brazil , Ethiopia and Uganda . He reported on social media about his visits to his sponsored children in their home countries , although critics accused him of a tendency to self-portrayal. The president of the district court replied that through his activities other acquaintances and friends had participated in similar aid projects - "[...] and that counts".

Ralph Guise-Rübe was appointed chairman of the 2nd Chamber of the Medical Professional Court of Lower Saxony , based in Hanover, in accordance with Section 70 in conjunction with Section 72 (4) of the Chamber Act for the Medical Professions . His term began on August 1, 2016 and ended on December 31, 2018.

Ralph Guise-Rübe is divorced and has two children.
