The Hildesheim Regional Court is one of six regional courts in the district of the Celle Higher Regional Court , along with the Bückeburg , Hanover , Lüneburg , Stade and Verden regional courts . It is based in Hildesheim .

The district courts in Alfeld, Burgdorf, Elze, Gifhorn, Hildesheim, Holzminden, Lehrte and Peine belong to the district of the Hildesheim Regional Court. The Hildesheim Regional Court has 739,612 court residents . The higher court is the Higher Regional Court of Celle .

Britta Knüllig-Dingeldey is the president of the regional court. Nine civil chambers , including two chambers for commercial matters , nine large criminal chambers , ten small criminal chambers, including two youth chambers as well as two criminal enforcement chambers and five chambers for fines were formed. There are 47 judges at the Hildesheim Regional Court.
