District Court Peine
The district court of Peine is one of eight district courts in the district of the district court of Hildesheim . It is based in Peine in Lower Saxony .
Responsibilities
The district court of Peine is locally responsible for the city of Peine and the communities of Edemissen , Hohenhameln , Ilsede and Lengede . The Hildesheim Regional Court is superior to it. The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court of Celle .
history
After the revolution of 1848 was the Kingdom of Hanover , the jurisdiction of the administration separated and the patrimonial abolished. The district court was then founded with the ordinance of August 7, 1852 regarding the formation of the district courts and lower administrative authorities as a royal Hanover district court. It included the Office Peine , the Office Hohenhameln zu Peine and the city of Peine. The district court was subordinate to the higher court of Hildesheim . With the annexation of Hanover by Prussia , it became a Prussian district court in the province of Hanover .

The court is housed in four buildings Am Amthof , on the site of the former Peine Castle .
