The Hildesheim District Court is one of eight district courts in the district of the Hildesheim District Court . It is based in Hildesheim in Lower Saxony .

Responsibilities

The Hildesheim District Court is locally responsible for the cities of Bad Salzdetfurth , Bockenem , Hildesheim and Sarstedt as well as for the communities of Algermissen , Diekholzen , Giesen , Harsum , Holle , Schellerten and Söhlde . The Hildesheim Regional Court is superordinate to the Hildesheim District Court. The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court of Celle .

history

After the revolution of 1848 was the Kingdom of Hanover , the jurisdiction of the administration separated and the patrimonial abolished. The district court was then founded with the ordinance of August 7, 1852 regarding the formation of the district courts and lower administrative authorities as a royal Hanover district court. It included the Hildesheim office and the Marienburg office in Hildesheim. The district court was subordinate to the higher court of Hildesheim . With the annexation of Hanover by Prussia , it became a Prussian district court in the province of Hanover .
