The Stade Regional Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction based in Stade . It is one of eleven regional courts in Lower Saxony .

Judicial district

The judicial district covers the area between the Elbe and Weser .

Instance move

The district courts of Bremervörde , Buxtehude , Cuxhaven , Langen , Otterndorf , Stade , Tostedt and Zeven are subordinate to the Stade Regional Court . The higher regional court in Celle and the federal court in Karlsruhe are superordinate .

organization

Carl Fritz Fitting presides over the court as president of the regional court. Predecessors in office are Gerhard März, the editor of the Lower Saxony laws at CH Beck , and the father of the legal historian Franz Wieacker . The court has 98 employees, including 32 judges. Twelve criminal and ten civil chambers , including one chamber for commercial matters, were established.
