The Bremervörde district court is one of eight district courts in the Stade district court and is based in Bremervörde in Lower Saxony ( Rotenburg (Wümme) district ).
Superior courts
The regional court of Stade , the higher regional court of Celle and the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe are superordinate to the Bremervörde District Court.
history
With the Hanoverian Courts Constitution Act of November 8, 1850, which came into force on October 1, 1852 , administration and justice were finally separated from each other and local courts were created as the lowest courts. So also the Bremervörde District Court. While there was initially only one judge working there, a second judge post was created in 1900. After the end of the Second World War , all courts in Germany were temporarily closed. On December 1, 1945, the Bremen district court was reopened.
Courthouse
The court was initially located in the district office in the Amtsallee . The newly built district court building was inaugurated in 1898. A year later u. a. added a prison. In 1900 a house for the magistrate was built opposite the court. The court is still housed in the buildings in the Amtsallee today .
