District Court East

The East District Court was a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Osten in the district of Cuxhaven in Lower Saxony .

After the revolution of 1848 was the Kingdom of Hanover , the jurisdiction of the administration separated and the patrimonial abolished. The district court was then founded with the ordinance of August 7, 1852 regarding the formation of the district courts and lower administrative authorities as a royal Hanover district court. It comprised the East Office . The district court was subordinate to the Stade Higher Court .

As part of the administrative reform in 1859, the judicial district was expanded to include the parish of Lamstedt from the Bremervörde district court and the parts of the district of the Himmelpforten district court on the left bank of the Oste .

With the annexation of Hanover by Prussia , it became a Prussian district court in the province of Hanover . In 1973 it was repealed and its judicial district was assigned to that of the Stade District Court .
